    My ratings are my opinions but not all of my companions. I found my food surprisingly spicy as I chose items that normally are quite mild. We were not asked at any time how spicy we wanted our food. The restaurant was far too noisy. However, I could not fault the service. After a glass of beer was knocked over the staff swiftly came to mop up.

    Had brunch. Stuffed parathas, yogurt & pickle. Very good. Samosas not so good. Vegetable samosas (4 ) had thick heavy pastry.

    Incredible food as always, never been disappointed in anything we’ve tried, great variety and something different to your traditional British style Indian restaurant. Really friendly and attentive service, excellent wines and an enjoyable atmosphere.

    We had a fantastic evening yesterday, thoroughly enjoying our time. The food we ordered not only met but exceeded our expectations, and the service provided was excellent.     The dinner experience including the booking was seamless and it was enjoyable. The guests liked most of the food and the ambience. Happy with the experience overall. Somewhat on the pricier side but that is to be expected.

    Very friendly, helpful and attentive service. We ordered most of the vegetarian starters, with the exception of the avacado chaat and brocolli, the rest were all delicious and tasty. Disappointingly the wine by the glass options are very limited and not great. They took very good care as one of us had a cashew allergy and they were very careful to inform us of potential foods that may have cashews.

    Had an amazing time at my daughter’s 21st birthday lunch with family. Shweta was just so friendly and accommodating - btw you have a million dollar smile! All the staff was very sweet and attentive. There was 13 of us from 2.5 years to 70 years plus and all thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks a very special and relaxed afternoon: Thank you again for making my daughter’s birthday special and for your amazing service!

    Visited Social Dhaba for the first time although live very local ! The food was amazing. We ordered too much as portion size was very generous so took some home which was an added treat. The ambiance, decor and choice of crockery was all lovely.

    We've been to Social Dhaba before and the food is very good but I struggle to justify 5 stars because this is the second time when I have gone there and before even ordering my food, I have been informed by the staff that I am on a time limit. I get it, it's a busy restaurant but no one wants to be told this within the first 5mins of entering a restaurant. Also, I would advise if you're taking young children to bring some food with you, the restaurant has a very rigid policy on menu changes and we all thought they could be a little more accommodating.

    A lot of the good marks were towards the outstanding metric above rather than any averaging up from a grade below. The quality of food is really important and how its prepared as we did not want to have something we can easily have at home. The restaurant succeeded in achieving that objective. The staff are friendly and have that emotional intelligence and teamwork in how things are delivered in the restaurant.

    Service pretty poor. Shouldn’t have to try and get the waiters attention multiple times. And this has been the last few times at SD. Was always a meet up place for me to go with friends for a long awaited catch up but I decided yesterday I won’t be going back. Food was good but not amazing. Corn very oily. Dhal was pretty bland. More staff needed!!

    The restaurant does not cater for anyone who may want a milder taste….everything was very spicy and there is no kids menu. The service felt rushed and it was so loud we could hardly hear each other! Unfortunately I would not recommend this place if you have young kids and want a more relaxed feel.

    We had a lovely experience as always at Social Dhabha. The staff are absolutely fantastic. Cannot fault their service at all and such a big reason why we keep coming back and why they are markedly above their competitors. The food was delicious very fresh and delivered with a smile. Generous portions and some lovely different options. The only thing I would not order again is the pani poori which unfortunately we were not a fan of but everything else is standout. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

    A must visit place! We had heard about this place for a long time but I'm glad we finally made it happen. Celebrating my wife's birthday, the Social Dhaba team ensured to get us a nice private kind of table which was perfect. Food wise we were mesmerized by the flavours , options and genuineness of the specific dishes Dal makhani was divine, masala Mogo was delicious and the variety of breads was all we needed! I cannot wait to return.

    Very dissappointed that our table was booked for 8.30 but we had to wait for over 30 minutes to be seated. We were offered a complimentary drink but that doesn't justify the long wait as we had plans to meet friends after and it all got delayed. I have usually always received good service but we were both quite annoyed and upset with the experience.
