LAST CALL! Our Searcys St Pancras Champagne Bar will be temporally leaving the station (until September).

We’ve been working on something very exciting behind the scene and it’s finally time to announce our big news! Europe’s longest Champagne Bar is getting a major refurbishment and will be temporarily closing on 26th June to early September 2022.

From June, the bar will undergo a complete redesign, transforming the aesthetic and upgrading its technology and facilities. The updated and modernised bar will put the spotlight on our extensive champagne range of bottles and magnums and include a new seafood bar. The central bar will be accented by marble-topped tables and a new snug style, blue plush booths along the upper concourse. Fear not, our signature ‘Press for Champagne’ buzzers will remain.

Join us for one last celebration as we’ll be pouring our last glass of Champagne from the bar as you know it, on Saturday 25 June until our grand reopening in early September.

    We sat in the champagne bar, on the concourse. It was superb. Great food, super service and a fantastic atmosphere. The champagne was a must and added to a very special dinner. Only advice - Take a jumper, as it can be a bit chilly on the concourse.

    Me and my husband love coming here. The staff are always very helpful and efficient. The food is amazing. A lovely treat to pop in on our way home from when weve been out and about. Highly recommend.

    Whilst the idea of having this bar at King's Cross is great in principle, reality is wholly different. I would suggest booking the brasserie rather than seating outside for the full champagne experience rather than sitting in the sidings next to the Eurostar departure gate. Can't fault the service or our waiter who was excellent. Pudding I had of banana pudding was overly sweet (a version of sticky toffee pudding) for me and costs (not drinking champagne) was over priced for what it was. Glad have been, not sure would go again.

    To be honest they were hesitant to seat us in a booth despite requesting it. Good wine list. The location is a nice idea but it's a bit cold and they didn't have enough staff.

    Food good. Staff professional, pleasant and helpful. But we sat a long way from the central bar and despite pressing the call button it took a very long time to get service. Plus you are not sure whether or not anyone is coming. Enjoyed the evening - but not likely to go again.

    Arrived for pre-booked time to be advised that there were no booths available so we could either sit at bar or at table basically on the public walkway. Neither were ideal to sit and have afternoon tea but we did sit at table where instructed. We were not acknowledged by any staff nor offered menu or drinks so after 15mins we left to go elsewhere. Would not return

    Visit this place regularly but on the past two occasions the same hostess has been rude. So rude this time I needed to speak to the manager. more than half the booths are empty and ready but none available for me at the time of my booking claims they don’t have a reservation for me then it miraculously arrives when I provide proof, the hostess then was rude and thought the whole thing was a joke and started laughing, very inappropriate, While the manager handled the situation I don’t think having rude staff to greet to us the way to go for any business, especially when I needed to tell the manager that the same member of staff carried on laughing behind her back while she was speaking to me. Very disappointing - makes me question if I should ever go back. 0/10 for Searcys customer service there however then served by a polite gentleman. A nice location spoiled more than once by poor attitude of one person. Honestly deserves a 0 star rating for this ongoing issue. Regularly used to rate this 5 stars. Not anymore.

    The hostess at this venue is rude and dismissive. My booking which had been made several days ago was not ready, despite the fact that there were at least 10 visible free booths when I arrived on time I then had to wait while the one booth that had people at it finished up and they cleaned the booth. What is the point in booking a time and indeed confirming a time if it is not ready when you arrive. The same hostess eventually sat me down but clearly wasn’t interested in the customer. Feels odd to come to any venue where the hostess clearly doesn’t want you there. Definately improvements could be made. However the serving staff are spectacular which makes the sullen attitude of one staff member stand out. Was there just weeks ago and it was 5 star because of the waiting staff alone but they simply can’t make up for people being rude to customers.

    A great place for a drink or two before or after your train journey - myself and my fiance had the champagne taster menu which was fabulous - 3 champagnes paired with delicious small bites. The staff were excellent also - would definitely recommend.

    We booked a table for 7pm to celebrate our wedding anniversary we arrived 5 minutes early and was told they close at 7pm totally ruined our evening celebration and will not get that day back

    A real shame afternoon tea is not offered inside the restaurant. It was very cold out despite the heater in the booth and blankets. The hot tea gets cold quickly!! There should be some kind of thinking around helping to keep the tea pots warm at this time of year. Food was not exceptional - not too sure if the price is really worth it tbh.
