Rock Bottom Brewery Restaurant - Long Beach
Food was good but service was lacking. They seemed understaffed.
Food excellent Service wonderful valet parking close by wish they played better music is my only issue everything else top notch there prices are better then you might expect I would recommend this spot to a friend:"*)
Food was good but nothing out of this world. With the accordion doors opening to the street the traffic noise was loud.
Everything after making our reservations was a mess!
It took forever to get service to order our 1st round of drinks, then another 45 minutes before they came back for food orders.
The food came slowly and then there was only one follow up— a few people ordered 2nd drinks, but not all orders were taken. So drinks were not brought for others. We were there 4 hours... with servers actively avoiding us trying to catch them to get silverware, drinks or the bill!
The food was mediocre, which would have been bearable had the drinks been more plentiful.
Really it was too bad... a place this close to the convention center should handle large groups better.
The server was so patient and helpful. Thank you so much for working with each and every family. We had a allergy need — and they went out of their way to make sure we could find something for her to eat. Ty !!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great wait staff.
Service seemed overwhelmed with the little amount of customers present. The food looked good but did not taste as expected.
Server didn’t seem too thrilled about his job - don’t think he smiled once. Table touches were far and few between.
We were a party of 6 visiting Long Beach, Ca, since I had frequented Rock Bottom on other trips to Long Beach I was confident my friends would also enjoy their experience there. Used the online app to make the reservation, we were seated upon arrival and Austin took very good care of us. I will definitely patronize Rock Bottom on my next trip. Great food, great staff. Thank you for the enjoyable experience
Rockbottom is one of our family favorites. Various food options for each and everyone of us but we go for the beers. We love the beer menu. The Honey Blond is my go to however their seasonal beers are always a joyous surprise. Artichoke dip & pretzel sticks have been a must every time we are there as well.
They have a lot of different selection it was my first time there I always wanted to go growing up as a kid in Long Beach the steak was nice and juicy I’m definitely going again
I came to celebrate my graduation and had a great time
I guess I expected too much from bar food. The other reviews seemed to say that the food was great, I found it to be pretty bland, from the pretzels to the burgers there was very little taste to anything. I asked the waiter if there were any pilsners or lagers on tap and he pointed me to an ale, which I guess isn’t a big deal but ya know if you work at a brewery probably good to know the difference (or at least know that there is a difference) The ambiance was fine (again its a brewery so think somewhere along the lines of chili’s) I mean there was nothing outstandingly bad about the place but also nothing really great about it either. Maybe they’re in some sort of transition? For the price I wouldn’t really recommend going there. But if you have a hankering for bland food, beer, and service at slightly more than reasonable price than this place is totally passable.
Great service, loved happy hour! Will definitely be back.
Great place either during the Long Beach Grand Prix or before an event at the performing arts center, but you are definitely going to want to have a reservation - this ace is hopping! Stick with the house brews - darker the better!!!
Food was delicious and staff friendly; however, table wasn’t reserved had to sit at bar.
Our first round of drinks took too long to come out and there was an issue with one person's drink. Otherwise, food was good.
Great service and food. Would go again. Convenient.
Great place with great food. The staff is amazing and looking out for their customer's needs.
Food was good, beer was good... but, It is a brewery restaurant, happy hour shouldnt be confined to just the bar or your table supplied with a HH menu if it isnt available.
Menu was nothing special, food arrived cold and had to complain about bathroom condition.
We had a 12pm reservation and didn’t get our food until over an hour later. Only saw our server once and she never came by to apologize for the delay or any updates. Before we left the manager did apologize and took a few of our meals off the tab which was kind.
Conveniently located near LB attractions, Rock Bottom features a diverse menu and an excellent bar. The staff when we were there were patient, capable, and friendly. Food came quickly, order was correct, and everything tasted good.
Good beer and good food. We enjoyed our lunch before we got on our cruise.
Our reservation : We were seated upon arrival and did not have to wait for service.
The server was excellent and helpful. The beverage and food items came out in a timely manner.
All four of us enjoyed our meal and were pleased with the bill.
Not good food Not good food Not good food Not good food
I brought a party of 14 on Valentines Day to celebrate our Uncles 90th birthday and also
The birthdays of 2 nieces, my sister-in-law and her mother. It was not very busy that night yet the evening was fraught with very poor service from start to finish.it took an inordinate amount of time for to take our orders. He did not manage our table by checking in with us to see if we were okay or needed anything; we had to go find him for more water, extra utensils, etc. When I called after making the reservation, I was told they would provide a special dessert for the Birthday person and they did not. They told me the parking validation would be for up to 3 hours and it was for only 2 hours. They also cancelled our Open Table reservation while we were still dining!! This was the most disappointing dinner I have ever had in the many years I have been using Open Table for recommendations and reservations. We recently moved near the restaurant and dine in downtown Long Beach frequently and thought that the Ocean Blvd address would give credibility to this restaurant but it did not. We will never return to or recommend the Rick Bottom Brewery.
Solid chain restaurant, big plus is calorie information. Last time I went service was a bit slow, but it's not usually a problem - I have been there a few times already and probably will be returning. It's a good option for an impromtu lunch or dinner because they have parking validation, lots of tables, a casual setting and a decent variety of food and drink.
Food was over priced and not that tasty and it took 45 minutes for them to bring the food
Great place to bring a date to
We love the Rib-Eye steak. Always so very delicious and cooked perfectly.
Have always enjoyed Rockbottom Brewery since I first experienced back in 2005. All around classy place to enjoy eating with a friend. Besides great food, the beer samplers are a wonderful experience. My favorite is the Longboard...unfortunately I'm now diabetic...so can't indulge. Parking can be problematic for the disabled. But I give it 5 stars!
We went to Rock Bottom for lunch. Great food and friendly, attentive service.
Great food and service. The nacho appetizer was fantastic and just right for our party of 8.
We had an enjoyable time at Rock Bottom for New Year's Eve dinner. Everything was great, including the prices. Thank you for an enjoyable evening to start off our night right! :-)
Good happy hour specials and good craft brews made on site.
Stopped in to Rock Bottom before going to the Joe Bonamassa show at the Terrace Theater. Good thing we had reservations because they were BUSY at 6:30PM on a Friday night. I told Darryl our server we were going to a show and he expedited our food order. The beer was flavorful, the guacamole nachos were tasty and we all enjoyed our entrees (Cajun pasta, salmon and two burgers). My son liked his onion rings and they were HUGE. Darryl was an outstanding server and we were out in less than 60 minutes. Nits.....the beer could have been a little colder, but I do like mine well chilled. Also, it would have been nice if the nachos could have come out before the entrees. I just wish I lived closer so I could become a regular.
Great outdoor seating and friendly, personal attention to our labradoodle puppy!
We had a very nice dinner. The food was good and the service was good too.
Terrible experience Waitress bad attitude Food very disappointing
