If you ask the brilliant minds behind Le Petit Paris, Fanny and David Rolland, They will say “We were born in a restaurant, literally”. From Grandpa to father, the restaurant business has been a natural part of their daily life.

They decided 15 years ago to create their first restaurant in Cannes, Le Petit Paris, Parisian brasserie, located in the middle of the international film festival city.

In order to give the opportunity of an unforgettable experience in Cannes to their international clientele, they decided to run a business on the beach with the combination of well being, relaxed and lay down on the beach with a cocktail and enjoying a gastronomic food.

David and Fanny were always striving to be surrounded by great collaborators in order to provide a real “savoir-faire” to their clients. They have been known worldwide now thanks to their hard work and dedication.

    We went for the Thanksgiving dinner. While the prix fixe menu was a bit on the pricey side at $85/piece, we liked the selection and given the holiday, thought it was worth the splurge. The food was good, the service was as well. However, when we got the bill, we had a 20% and *then* 4% service fees on top of the previous total added to the bill. I had my $85 meal plus one $18 drink and paid over $145. A bit outrageous - and thankfully the food was good - though not THAT good. Why is it so difficult for restaurants to be transparent with charges? (And no, fine print does not count.)

    Celebrating with my wife our wedding anniversary , from the hosted to our waiter, all very nice and attentive, the service way more than expected, Food the very beat, all we ate was fresh and very tasty, at the end our waiter brought us to glasses of champagne and fire works (courtesy of Le Petite Paris) so happy to dine at Le Petite Paris, highly recommend such a Wonderfull restaurant, for sure I will be back, Thank you Le Petite Paris for such a special night.

    We assembled a last-minute business dinner for fifteen. The staff rolled with it. The service was flawless from cocktail and wine recommendations to suggested shared plate starters to the entire range of excellent mains (I had the half-chicken, prepared superbly, succulent, full of garlic and just enough crunch on the skin) to dessert. The staff saw us eying the birthday sparklers so we got two with our final sweet course. The room is gorgeous, heavy idealized nineteenth century Paris with a two-floor atrium. Go soon and go often. It’s a guaranteed great evening.

    I requested the dinning room, which is nice, but the tables where round therfore a little bit uneven, and two of us had to sit on a couch, for dinner. Not great for the occasion, now if I am there for drinks, that is ok.

    Always a pleasure to go to Le Petit Paris. It has the feel of being in a bistro in Paris (though a large one). The food is great, as is the ambiance and service. What a pleasure to go there!!

    We came here before going on to the Disney Hall, in a rush and hungry. The setting, music, ambience ,staff and food were all fantastic. They knew we were in a rush so served us quickly and with great courtesy. I can think of no reason whatsoever to eat anywhere else before shows in downtown LA.

    The ambiance and decor are absolutely beautiful. The service is great as well. Unfortunately the food left more to be desired- while well prepared the meals lacked flavoring/spices to give the dishes personality. For such a beautiful place, the food was average and that mismatch is why the experience is not 5/5.

    The truffle pasta and the Prime rib are a must! Their calamari appetizer is also the perfect texture and taste. The service was also amazing. Friendly staff! This is not a stuffy French restaurant; it is an elegant and vibrant place with great service and amazing food!

    Fabulous first experience! Delicious bone marrow with gnocci, strawberry lemonade mocktail, and asparagus. The truffle pasta with the performance was cool…it is a beautiful space with lounge ambience. Everyone was nice.

    Let's talk about the good things first. Having valet in front of the front door is very convenient. The internal ambience is unique. The interior is cool and the added space outside is really good. Now about the problems: We were sitting at our table outdoors for 30 minutes before we were waited on and then only because I insisted on seeing the manager (who was young and probably inexperienced). What made it worse, people who came in later were waited on first. Totally unacceptable. I ordered a white russian which has "cream" in it and the drink was served warm? How do you serve cream in a drink warm with a single ice cube. My risotto was greasy and the portion stingy. Was supposed have mushrooms but they must have been micro-mushrooms. My friend's duck was acceptable as was my onion soup. You cannot keep a customer waiting 30 minutes before a waiter shows up that you had to literally make a scene to get. Horrible experience. Most restaurants with a single ounce of sense would have offered a free dessert or something to make up for what happened but the management team is literally sleeping.

    I've always wanted to try this restaurant. It was WAY TOO LOUD! We had to move tables 3 times so that we could sit somewhere where we could hear each other without yelling over the surround-sound, DJ mixing music. And the food was just okay...WAY overpriced! I'm not a cheap person, but given the ambiance (i.e., club like feel), I wouldn't dine there again.

    Food is amazing but I would not recommend going solo especially on days they have shows. My reservation was 6PM (10/20/2023) and pre-paid $30 for the cabaret that was showing 7:30PM. They seated me at the bar because it was just me. They claimed it was best seating for the show but the performers were only by the bar for less than a minute during the intro. Waste of $30 if anyone without reservation can just come sit at the bar.

    The overall experience was fantastic. My wife and I celebrated our 14th wedding. The food was delicious and the dessert was scrumptious. We ended with the sparkling celebration candle and champagne. Great memories!

    An absolutely delightful and delicious experience! Perfect if you’re seeing a show at the Music Center - if you’re so inclined, you can walk the mile or so or just Uber. The ambience is truly memorable. The service is professional and friendly. The food is truly amazing. The prices are reasonable. Don’t miss it! A true jewel in Los Angeles!

    This is a great spot in downtown, food is excellent and ambiance is great. Let down by its service, I’ve had more attentive waitresses in a diner. We had to pour our on drinks and prompt for service at all. Could definitely be improved quickly with some more attentiveness.

    This place used to be one of my favorites, but this time was off. The host took a call right when he was going to sit us (we were there on time for our reservation). and kept talking and answering their questions and I had to ask him 2x to put them on hold and sit us since we were standing in front of him. That is the GM's job to train this guy properly. They messed up our food order but corrected it and eventually got our order and they did make up for it by giving us a glass of bubbly. And when I got my burger it was surrounded by a moat of the sauce that was on it. it was the Messiest bite I have ever taken and ended up using my fork for the rest. Poor Planning.

    We came in at about 7:50 and ordered drinks at 8. Then we ordered our food at about 8:20. By 9:00 the food was still not out. Because we had previous engagements we told the waitress at about 9:10 that we wanted to cancel the food because we had been waiting for over an half an hour and she seemed inconvenienced but said it was okay. 5 minutes later someone else brings out the food. I tell them that we canceled it and he tells me it’s not possible. He told me that the food takes 10 minutes to make and that it was ready by the time we cancelled it. I tell him that we needed to go and it was to late and he proceeds on arguing with me and doesn’t want to take the food away. I persisted and he then said “for next time just don’t order food if your going to cancel it”. If the food takes 10 minutes to make that means that it was sitting out for half on hour before it was brought out to us and only brought out when we decided to cancel it. I’m not a confrontational person and this put me in an uncomfortable position we’re he was trying to make me feel bad for not taking the food and pressuring me to take it. They had bad service and manners. Will never go again. There’s a jazz club downstairs tho and it looked really nice!
