                        Wasn't seated until an hour after our reservation time. Food is around $20 and entree and is normal, mediocre sysco food. A smaller menu would probably improve food quality, and a remodel would fix the issue of the restaurant being horrendously loud.

                        This was the most horrific experience I’ve had at Mimi’s in many, many years. I made reservations for Mother’s Day, almost 3 weeks ago, and yes, we all expect Mother’s Day to be busy, but I didn’t expect what it was like here today… When we arrived, we were not surprised by the amount of people outside waiting, but we’re absolutely shocked when we came inside and the front waiting area looked like Black Friday during the 1980s when everyone wanted a tickle me Elmo. People were waiting easily up to an hour past our reservation times and the excuse was “sorry we’re busy” or “sorry we don’t have enough staff.” And the irony was that you could still have made reservations for today around the time our reservation was on OpenTable. When we got in (mind you I’m with hungry kids who don’t understand), there were no staff to help check us in, despite being about five minutes early for our reservation time. We eventually had to ask the to go staff to help check us in, as the hostess did not come back (not that we blame her). We weren’t seated until almost an hour after our reservation; every time we asked how much longer (again asking anyone we could find between the throes of people we were waiting with) they would extend the wait time by almost 15 minutes. Then, we watched and listened to people with reservation times GET SEATING BEFORE US!! Once we were able to get a seat, we were placed in a booth where a family (a booth over) had placed their walker … when I went to move it, I was told by the family that “it was their walker” and I shouldn’t have moved it closer to them (WTAH?!). We were placed in the empty booth by Mimi’s staff, mind you!). A waitress was kind enough to step in and tell the family the walker needed to be near their booth as the restaurant was slammed and couldn’t accomadate losing an empty booth for a walker… SMH…. Once seated the service was slow (the only upside is that our waitress understood and was so kind), there was no one expl

                        We made reservations for Mother’s Day. When we arrived, the lobby was standing room only and we were told we would have to wait 30-45 minutes for a table. I said we have a reservation and the hostess said everyone there waiting also had a reservation! So we left and went to another restaurant. We will not be returning to Mimi’s!

                        We had reservations at 11:45 for the Mother’s Day brunch and unfortunately were not seated until 1:00. Once seated, it was very clear the staff was extremely overworked and doing the absolute best they could under the circumstances. We waited quite a while for water and even longer for beverages from the bar, but throughout it all, the servers never stopped moving and never forgot anything we ordered or requested. I honestly felt terrible for them because they were working so hard nonstop. Being Mother’s Day, we completely understand it was a busy event, but our final course did not arrive until around 2:30. It seemed like the restaurant may have overbooked reservations or simply did not have enough staff scheduled for such a large event. I do want to emphasize that our waitress was wonderful and we made sure she was tipped well. The issue was clearly not the staff’s effort, but the overall planning and pacing for the event.

                        What a mess. People made reservations for mother's day and ended up waiting up to an hour after their reservation Just to be seated. I am not sure what the point of making reservations was. I will definitely never do a holiday here again.They were clearly not prepared. People were leaving upset.

                        Had a reservation for 11:30am checked in at hostess deck at 11:20am stood in an over packed room for 10-15mins then asked if reservations were on time and told me no about an hour wait WITH a reservation and didn’t feel inclined to tell me that when I checked it!!!
