Highest quality ingredients served in an elegant dining area that was welcoming, friendly, and a nice balance of casual and refined. Unusual combinations of ingredients such as sweet potato encrusted catfish.

Service was excellent: perfect timing and attentiveness; great recommendations. My Black Walnut cocktail was superb. We loved the fried green tomato appetizer and my friend loved her arugula salad. My pork osso bucco was tender and tasty plus the stone ground grits were a great compliment. My friend's ahi tuna though was another matter. Tuna didn't seem fresh and the way it was prepared wasn't very good. My friend was polite and didn't say anything but should've sent it back. It's a good restaurant but I'd stay with their stalwart dishes.

If I didn't get the dessert it would have been all 5 stars. Lava cake was busted compared to how good the rest of the food was.

The food and our server were wonderful, as always. Still, I'm giving four stars for service because, at the end of our meal, a gentleman came up to our table and rudely and abruptly interrupted my primary guest, who was in mid-sentence, to tell us about dessert offerings. I was embarrassed.

Lovely meal in very pleasant surroundings, staff were excellent. Food was beautifully cooked, we all had fish and were not disappointed.
