Opened in 2006, the first thing you'll experience at Wild Sage American Bistro is the rich earth tones and classic architectural details that make our bistro both relaxing and refined. Walls of windows saturate our interior space with abundant natural light during the day and provide an intimate atmosphere at night. You'll find our three dining areas allow for conversations to flow comfortably yet privately for a wonderful dining experience.
We have designed a menu that allows us to be creative on a daily basis, and work within the limits of what is in season and available. We are always looking for unique ingredients to highlight. Local beef, regional fresh fish, local gardens, heirloom vegetables fruits and tomatoes. We describe our style as “Regionally Sourced Northwest Cuisine”. It just makes sense using local ingredients at the peak of their quality and freshness.

    My wife, daughter and I all loved our drinks, entrees and dessert. We arrived early, sat at the bar and decided to dine there. It was a good decision as we enjoyed conversation with all the staff but especially with Alex (who is the bartender and also our server). This is my favorite restaurant in Spokane.

    Perfect food, drinks and service - as always! This is the best restaurant in town, hands down. It is also so exciting to me to have so many gluten free options on the menu!

    We come here often and it’s excellent service and food quality and flavor profiles typically. Tonight drinks, apps and entrees were all off. Nine years coming here we have never had a night like this. We will definitely give it another try since it has been the best dining experience and food quality consistently in Spokane.

    This is me and my wife’s absolute favorite restaurant. Top notch food, service, and experience. I recommend this spot to anyone that comes to Spokane! Shout out to the servers who have been relentlessly amazing every time we’ve been. So so so soooo good!!!

    Good food in a warm, simple, relaxed environment. Tables are nicely spaced and it was pretty quiet at 5:30pm. Our service was excellent. The mushroom soup, salads, and Wagyu burger were all served up nicely and all were very tasty. We were offered to taste a few wines as they were out of the offered special. The only recommendation would be to have smaller and non-carb options for appetizers (like small plates for sharing, ie, grilled shrimp, sauteed mushrooms, etc.) that are price moderate and sharable.
