The bar & cafe area is the perfect place for some light food or to relax and have a drink, with gorgeous views over Sligo Bay & Oyster Island. Paudie's pitmaster background has played a big influence on The Driftwood Smokehouse Restaurant, with smoked meats and seafood playing a central part of the menu, which have been slow cooked in the smoker for up to 15 hours, to give a gorgeous flavour & tender texture.

    Pint of Guinness was over poured and overflowed when bought to the table. Food was good. Staff were good. Lighting poor as we needed phones to read menu’s. Had a better experience previously while dining outside.

    Monkfish dish disappointing, delicious but utterly let down by choice of serving plate. Either take 2 euro off and have as starter or add 4 euro on and include bigger chunks of fish as main. It’s a dish that doesn’t know what it is, to big for starter to small for main, but it is delicious 😋

    Great Restaurant with a nice few over the sea. Great to sit outside and the windows can also wide opened at a sunny day. Menus were all perfect, also vegetarian food available. Service was very nice and friendly. Great place to be !

    First time to eat here. I have to say it was just fabulous. Each staff member was really pleasant, chatty and all had a smile on their faces. And we actually go to eat outside at 5 in the evening in Ireland!!! The food exceeded all our expectations. We had three different starters and each one was delicious and full of flavor. We all had the Seafood Tagine which was delicious and the desert was one I never had before. It was baked cooked dough on a cast iron pan with ice cream and two types of caramel sauce on the plate. The wine was Three Wooly Sheep (my favourite - but as I was the designated driver I could only look on while the others enjoyed)! It was my sisters birthday after all. From start to finish it was fabulous and I can't wait to bring my husband and son next time.

    Excellent food , maybe a bit more of a selection on the menu , was charged 2euro extra for bacon on burger which was on the menu. Service very good, lovely staff.Toilets very clean. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

    The proposed main dishes (Kofta of Lamb and Fish tagine) where very original and of an excellent quality. The desert Pavlova with red fruit was outstanding. Friendly staff, nice view on the sea.

    We had the steak and it was amazing. The service was perfect. I asked for a Boubon Whisky Sour which was served quickly and tasted fantastic. Great sea views. Highly recommend.

    We had a very enjoyable meal at the Driftwood. The menu was excellent with lots of variety and it catered well with lots of gluten free options. Although the weather wasn't great it was lovely looking out across the bay and on a sunny day it would be lovely to sit outside. We would definitely return if we were in the area and would recommend to friends.

    The food was unreal 👌. Pulled pork Nachos and ribeye steak highly recommended. Staff were so helpful and very pleasant ☺ This was our 2nd visit to Driftwood and it didn't disappoint. We will be back soon
