Mushroom side dish was quite dry and waslack of flavor. Dry aged NY steak was ok. Also ordered scallop dinner but it was too salty. 4 pieces for over $50 bucks. Probably not ordering that again. Service was really good at lounge and bar area but our waiter seems like he was not enjoying working there. Kinda grumpy and not really made us feel comfortable. I think the place still has some of the best dry aged steaks but other stuffs were not anything special.

Food wasn’t good at all especially sides, mushroom, Mac and cheese didn’t even have a taste, appetizers were very small portions. Price was way too high, paid over $500 for 3 people for lousy food.

For what used to be known as a fine dining establishment that wasn't very busy during my lunchtime reservation, the service was very disappointing. Orders for 4 of my 6 guests were either wrongly prepared or late to be served. And when asked to correct the situation, there was no apology or urgency so one guest was delivered a portion of her meal after another 10 minute wait.

We go to Nick & Stef's almost every time we see a play or opera at the Music Center. The food and service have always been 5 stars. I usually get the Filet Mignon and it's great. It was cooked perfectly. I had 2 of their wonderful Popovers and a Baked Potato and we each had a Dessert. I had a Cappuccino and we ordered the Chocolate Lava Cake and Lemon Meringue Tart. The Cappuccino was made with superior beans and there wasn't even a slight note of bitterness associated with most Cappuccino and Espresso. The Chocolate they used for the Chocolate Lava Cake is very high quality and you will be surprised how good it is if you've had a similar dessert somewhere else. The only suggestion I have for this dessert is they should serve a gravy boat of Hot Fudge and top the Ice Cream with lots of Whipped Cream to elevate this even higher. The Lemon Meringue Tart was excellent and couldn't have been any better. The Meringue has an almost marshmallow quality to it and the crust is perfect. We will definitely continue to go to Nick & Stefs. Our waitress was fantastic and the ambience is really soothing. I highly recommend Nick & Stef's.

Consistenly delicioius food! Seating is a bit odd with bench like against the window, and when so many open tables, seated next to another group. But the service is excellent, and the food is delicous. Asian Sea Bass was ok, but Chilian would have been better. Steak was perfect, like butter. delicious! The potato gratin, and the long beans, and mushroom were perfect sides. Started with a N&S salad and it was light and perfect. Wish they served bread instead of Popovers since they are a bit eggy, but I know many love them.

Excellent service, delicious food! Mediums were mediums and medium raretés were exactly that. The decor can use a redo. The place was a bit hidden since we found street parking. I learned that they will validated if parked in the building. Will definitely revisit if I am in the mood for good steak.

Our pre-theater dinner was terrific. The wide menu offers many choices, lighter and hearty. The Caesar salad is outstanding, as is the Nick & Stef's burger which is sky-high and comes with fries. Popovers are a complimentary and wonderful addition, too. Service is always outstanding, and we are always on to our event on time.

Get a booth and ask for waiter Johnathon. He is a character and has great recommendations. The Caesar salad is one of the best I've ever had and the burger is probably the best in Los Angeles. I also like the New York steak and mixed mushroom side dish.

Ordered the 48oz Tomahawk Ribeye, Steak was warm not hot, pre sliced but certain pieces were sear side down (inverted)for some reason. Steak could have been more tender and had more flavor. (didn't taste any butter) Overall the steak was decent but nothing outstanding especially when you account for the fact that the steak was $190. The Mac and Cheese was decent but also not noteworthy. Overall 5.5/10 Price Adjusted 4/10

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your steak, that could have easily been sold by addressing the issue to the manager that stopped, perhaps we could have gotten you a different cut. We don't cook our steaks with butter, we grill them over mesquite and oak, if you wanted butter, we also could have melted some. Again we apologize for your mediocre experience and failed to meet your culinary expertise.

This was the first time we tried the Prime Rib dinner and it was fantastic. It is hard to find a restaurant that can do a good, rare Prime Bib and Nick & Stef's nailed it. We will definitely be having it again in the future.

We enjoy Nick and Stef’s for pre-Music Center light dinners in the bar/lounge. This time, they had a Prime Rib special, more than we usually eat at 5:30, but it was too tempting to ignore. So good, the meat was done perfectly, medium rare as requested, super-tender and full of flavor. The whipped potatoes were perfect, as was the Caesar to start. Panna cotta with fresh fig was a great dessert. With everything, we still enjoyed those fantastic popovers, too. Service was excellent, a special and delicious dinner, yet they still had us out in time for the performance. Terrific!

It was our first time at Nick + Stef’s and my partner and I were underwhelmed with our experience. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable and cocktails were great (he ordered the La Louisiane which he described as “excellent”). The crab cakes were delicious (better than Flemings); however our steaks left much to be desired. His ribeye was over cooked and lacking flavor. My filet was also lacking flavor, although the temperature was fine. Sides are big enough to share, but were nothing special. Overall an overpriced, underwhelming experience.

Fantastic experience!!! Every plate was incredibly delicious. Our waiter made great recommendations. My husband loved the La Louisiana old fashioned! The tomahawk was sumptuous, tender and juicy!! Our waiter, whom’s name is shamefully escaping me was a pure delight. His knowledge of the menu was amazing!!! He made great recommendations and I loved how he let us know that we’d made excellent choices. Awesome experience from the hostess, wait staff and management!!!

Both steaks we ordered were undercooked and had to send back. It was then overcooked and we just didn’t bother eating it. Ruined what was supposed to be a birthday celebration. Very disappointed by the entire experience.

Food is way over priced. The decor is outdated and the service wasn't spectacular. Overall a huge disappointment.
