   The margaritas were great but the food was just ok. Guac was bland and my entree was good but a bit too pricey. Great service and nice ambiance.

   AWESOME spot. Drinks and food were unreal and actually felt authentic, which is rare for Mexican food in manhattan. Come here

   Such an amazing spot! A little hidden from the outside but so worth the trip. Amazing drinks and food and great service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good Mexican food!

   Made a reservation last minute. Food was great, service was amaze. Would go back and definitely want to check out the speakeasy next store

   La Contenta is really amazing! Great food, fabulous drinks, a small quiet restaurant, and Alejandro makes everyone feel welcome and happy! Everyone - try the Nachos with chorizo. Best in NYC! Can’t wait to try their sister restaurant Vallarta Tropical!

   This is one of the friendliest restaurants I have been to in a while. Easygoing and very pleasant service. We were seated near a very large and quite loud birthday gathering in a small dining room so some of our party couldn’t hear conversation at our table. Otherwise food was good and we lingered for a while without being hustled out the door which was nice.
