   We were made to feel very comfortable. Even before we got there, the venue called to see if we were booked in for the Quiz - we weren't, so they sat us in a quieter area. Food was good. They didn't have the dish I'd requested, but offered alternative and didn't charge any more for it. Service was excellent, could not have been better. A really good evening.

   Lobster crumpet was a Tesco crumpet with mature cheddar on and bits of lobster, the chicken roast was flavourless, cold and the potatoes were defo aunt bessies. We didn’t even stay for dessert. My daughter said the best bit of her meal was her Apple juice. The staff was rude, none of them smiled or looked happy except one lady with red hair. One lady didn’t even respond when I asked her a direct question, food took forever to come out and couldn’t even understand what the server was saying. The free gin was the best bit until they added an extra one saying it’s only one per table and did not explain that at the beginning.

   Sorry to say not a great experience. We turned up to find we had been allocated an outside table - I had booked standard seating. They did jungle things to put us inside but we ended up sat below a jumbo TV for the rugby. They also served a poor roast lamb which they replaced and did not charge for. Overall I think they were well intentioned but perhaps had too many people to maintain service.

   The staff were so lovely. Really a lovely lunch. Service was a little slow due to them being busy and short staffed but they were so kind we didn’t mind

   Such nice staff and really great layout and ambience for a family bday lunch - 3 generations and 2 dogs! Food was lovely too. Lots of drinks options. And didn’t cost the earth. We live in SW19 and this place has rocketed to No 1 for a weekend lunch! Thanks so much.

    Really warm welcome and our lovely server was warmly attentive and courteous throughout our meal. The pub is lovely and all the staff were friendly. The menu is varied and extensive and everyone of our party of 5 enjoyed their food. The plant burgers were much better than most pubs offer. We always have a really good dining experience at The Rushmere.
