We had a lovely dinner last night, sitting outside by the river. We had the lobster and shrimp Cioppino; so good! Filled with seafood and a delicious broth. The garlic toast was perfect.

Our server Paige was the PERFECT server in every way! Her kind and patient demeanor, spot-on timing giving us time to talk and relax, knowledge of all menu items, caring focus on making our dining experience the best possible and anticipating our dining needs was incredible. The food was not just delectable but every dish was cooked to perfection leaving us satisfied and feeling like we had been treated like royalty. My lobster was tender and delightfully flavorful, my friend’s scallops fell apart at the touch of her fork, the pomme frites laden with crumbly cheese kept us reaching for more, the fresh and vibrant wines and the mango-pistachio creamy cheesecake all came together to create not only the quintessential dining experience for us, but a very memorable and special 65th birthday celebration for me! With many thanks to Banks Seafood! See you again soon!

The crab cake dinner had very little flavor and the $66 Lobster in the Nude was chewy, probably overcooked. Service was great.

Calamari appetizer was so-so. If you can’t handle jalapeños don’t order the calamari! The red snapper and the black cod entrees were fantastic. Would definitely order either dish again. Our server, Andrew was very attentive and provided excellent service!

Haven't been to Banks in sometime so decided to give it a try for Sunday Lunch. Wasn't too crowded so we had our choice of tables (inside or out) and opted for an oversized booth. Started with a couple of Bloody Marys which were tasty but lacked "body," just a little too runny. NY Clam Chowder to start which was delicious, more like a bisque as everything was minced. Half-dozen Cherry Stone Clams were served ice cold and perfectly shucked. The menu included a salmon ceviche which was served atop a finely chopped salsa and was fantastic! Lastly the crab cake which was delicious but we had to ask for a side sauce. Our waiter brought two home made tartar variants which were the perfect accompaniment. Finished with a double espresso but skipped dessert. For a slow Sunday this turned out to be a home-run! Seafood can be a bit pricey and Banks was no exception, but it was fresh, served well and not overpriced by any comparison. I'll will gladly return.

Noise level was louder than normal as hey had a band playing. Otherwise it is a normal low level of noise.
