From the OpenTable editors: Katharine Kagel has been feeding Santa Fe from the same Downtown Plaza corner since 1979, and the James Beard America’s Classic Award on the wall reflects what locals have long known. The menu moves across the Southwest and into the Yucatan. Cochinita pibil arrives slow-cooked in achiote and Seville orange and goes best with Mia's Silver Coin Margarita featuring Cointreau. The room is romantic and a little eccentric, covered in murals by rotating gallery artists, so each new visit is equally rewarding.
