From the OpenTable editors: Katharine Kagel has been feeding Santa Fe from the same Downtown Plaza corner since 1979, and the James Beard America’s Classic Award on the wall reflects what locals have long known. The menu moves across the Southwest and into the Yucatan. Cochinita pibil arrives slow-cooked in achiote and Seville orange and goes best with Mia's Silver Coin Margarita featuring Cointreau. The room is romantic and a little eccentric, covered in murals by rotating gallery artists, so each new visit is equally rewarding.

A classic with elevated touch! Pasquale's has been my go to for great local cuisine on visits to Santa Fe for the past 20 years. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the seeded crisps and side dishes like roasted peppers and pinon ice cream. We will continue to return and look forward to what comes next!

Exceptional experience! Food, ambiance, service were all fantastic. We had our own table which we enjoyed but those who sat at the community table conversed amongst the group. For a romantic dinner or with close friends, I’d request a private table. Highly recommend dinner here.

Brightly decorated restaurant. Tables are close together- so tight squeeze. Overpriced food. Most of the main dishes start at $40+ , salads in $17-27 range, and most of the desserts are $16 including sundaes, cookies, etc. A few unique dishes, good portions. Great service.

Cafe Pasqual's is a lovely little restaurant in Santa Fe with a charming French/SouthWest fusion ambience and impeccable service. It feels very intimate, yet festive enough not to be boring. A party of four, we tried several different drinks, appetizers, and each of had a different entree. The appetizers - squash blossom rellenos, and a special sauteed pepper thing - yum! My entree was outstanding (chicken paillard); my husband found his entree (enchiladas) only average compared to the many outstanding NM enchiladas in the area, our friends thought their entrees to be excellent (mole and lamb chops). Though I thought the meal a little too expensive ($46 for chicken, as an example) , the overall experience was wonderful.
