   Our reservation time was 5:30, so still some time left for happy hour but still quiet in the restaurant. As the crowd picked up, it did get a little noisier very festive though the service was excellent and the food was superb we shared, brussels sprouts and roasted sweet potatoes and still had enough to take home the chargrilled or oysters are a can’t miss item. Would definitely recommend.

   We had a great experience at Saltine’s! Everyone enjoyed their dinners - two got the Blackfish and Brussels and two got the Cajun Salmon. Service was top notch!

   Loved our meal celebrating a college graduation for our party of 11! Our server was super attentive and the appetizers, drinks and entrees were fantastic! Even tried one of all the desserts to share around the table. We were out of the main dining room near the kitchen to accommodate the size of our group. This added a little extra noise but we enjoyed every minute of our time.

   Fantastic experience everytime we’ve been there—tonight was no different! Fantastic oysters, phenomenal key lime pie, and the best service!

   Down hill. Not sure what’s going on here? Our service was “not good” to say the least. Waited WAY WAY too long for server to arrive at table, drinks took FOREVER to arrive and were incorrect. Server brought check and placed it on table before we were even 1/2 way done eating dinner - I guess no more drinks, no dessert, no coffee for us so strange. Fish on poboy was almost raw- cold fries. Tables all around us were having trouble with orders & service. They just seem to not know what they are doing and not very professional or care. Several Big garbage bags sitting around floor at hostess stand when we arrived ( yuck). I think the staff needs some training. Just a great place very unfortunate - hope they can turn it around. I know it’s a hard time for the service industry right now but with proper training this shouldn’t happen. Do better.

   Great gumbo and oysters. Thank you to the bar manager (sorry, can’t remember his name) for such friendly and attentive service.

   Appetizers were probably the best on the menu. Had a large party so we tried a few of those. Steak seemed to be the best entree. Others had the salmon dish, pasta dish, and shrimp and grits, none of which were impressive.
