For over 40 years, the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant has been San Diego's landmark dining destination and is undoubtedly one of the most unique and memorable restaurants you will ever find. Located inside a replica of a World War I French farmhouse decorated with fascinating military memorabilia, antiques, and aviation relics, the restaurant overlooks Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport, and has a cozy and romantic ambiance, with large stone fireplaces, intimate booths, and beautiful views. The extensive menu features mid-western aged beef and the freshest seafood. Here you will find USDA Choice Prime Beef steaks, slow-roasted Angus prime rib, fresh fish, salad entrées, seafood, chicken, pasta dishes, and fabulous desserts. Their award-winning Champagne Brunch is not to be missed.     The buffet was great! None of the containers were empty and everything was hot/warm. Some items were steaming. The selection was wonderful and everything seemed fresh. Nothing was seasoned weirdly. It is a very clean place. The employees are very nice. Vanessa helped us to our table and she was awesome. I think our server was Jen? She was perfect, not annoying, but there when we needed her.

    Majority of options were literally from Costco. All cups were plastic and we paid $100 PER PERSON. Terrible quality

    Staff wasn’t nice enough. It’s like enterning in a government office where all the Karens work. Maybe the place was short staffed and they are overworked coz the place was packed coz it was Father’s day!The meat portion was so tiny! Like the burstwurst was just an inch. I couldn’t even notice I got a slice of lamb! It was really tiny! You will go back on the line to ask for another slice and yes another inch of the sausage lol! The $100 for the buffet isn’t worth it! The steak was too thin, it could fly! Good thing outside where we were seated was not windy or I have to go back for another thin slice of steak 😅 our table has no table cloth or placemats. It was my 2nd time in this place thought 2nd time’s a charm! Well coz we cldn’t find another place we booked for father’s day too late. All places were fully booked for Father’s day.

    An absolutely terrible experience. We made a reservation for Father’s Day brunch. When we arrived, we were led to the check-in station where a guy did not welcome us but told us to look at a screen. That was the payment screen. I asked him what that was and he said that they took payment ahead of time, including gratuity. After paying the $255 for two adults and a four-year old (we tipped above that number even before getting any service), we were taken to a booth right in the area with the most foot traffic. When we asked where we could place the high hairs we requested on the reservation, the snappy server said they only had one to provide to us and that it would be placed right on the path that staff and guests were taking. We asked to sit elsewhere because our child would not be able to eat without us standing up to feed him as the chair was below the table level and in the middle of foot traffic. We were then walked to their patio. The first section of the patio was nice but we were told that our table was further away. When we arrived, it was a cheap foldable table that wasn’t even leveled to the ground. Again, this was over $100 per head for a buffet. We asked for our money back and were told to walk up and talk to “whomever greeted you”. I asked for guidance and the receipt I handed the server and she said she didn’t have any receipt and gestured as to communicate we were on our own. After walking back, manager gave our money back and did not apologize or try to make anything better. This is the first time I’ve ever walked out of a lunch reservation during a holiday. We will not be back and will make sure to share this feedback with everyone we know.

    Very hospitable and the waiters and waitresses are amazing and very attentive. We were shocked to see that Father’s Day was $100 each, but we paid it happily and it as much as we could.

    Had reservations for 2 and received a no show from open table. We were at this restaurant on time and was just given paper to designate number of people for payment of buffet. There was only one line and did not distinguish reservations and walk ins. It was overly crowded in the food area with tight long lines.

    The ambience and establishment are very inviting and very nice. However, the quality of food and drink is severely below quality definitely need fresher new real food ingredients.

    Table was too far away and isolated by the time you get back to your table the food is cold within minutes and service was very intermittent, had to ask the busboy for silverware

    We been coming here for 18 years now . Missed Michael , this time but Elle , was good . It had been 6 months since my last visit bad experience. But decided to give it another try
