Opened in 2006 by 8 time James Beard Award Nominee, Chef James Campbell Caruso.
La Boca has the feel of a lively European wine bar, featuring an extensive selection of carefully chosen Spanish wines and Sherries. Chef Caruso's Modern Spanish Cuisine is inspired by the exuberance of Spanish cooking combined with fresh, local ingredients. La Boca has been  called "the most influential restaurant in Santa Fe" by the Pasatiempo Magazine and the New York Times describes the menu as "modern re-inventions of classic Spanish cuisine" Knowledgeable and animated staff graciously guide guests to the perfect wine to complement their meals. La Boca also prides itself on being an ambassador of Spanish sherry culture, transporting its guests to Jerez in the crisp cool flavors of Fino, or the deep fig-essence of a Pedro Ximenez.

    Join us for an exclusive menu with suggested pairings and special wines from Andalucia! Then finish the night sipping sherry and watching a world-class Flamenco performance! All food and drink items can be enjoyed à la carte. Please arrive for dinner between 5:30pm and 6:30pm - the show will start at 8:00pm. 15% off food and drinks for wine club members. The $30 entry fee is required for all diners attending this event. This fee covers the entertainment and is in addition to any food or drinks.     Excellent regular menu with available specials. Perfect for sharing multiple tapas and several larger dishes. The choices are the usual suspects along with some unique to this restaurant. Excellent choice of salads that could serve as a lunch in themselves. A nice wine list by the glass and bottle. Service is attentive and professional. Only negatives...small tables (a problem with multiple tapas orders) and when it is crowed the noice level can make conversations difficult.

    Outstanding for and service! Authentic, relaxed and delicious. The only confusion was the 2 dining rooms and entrance, but once settled we lived our dinner with you! Thank you!

    I booked this as a surprise to my husband for our third year anniversary, but it was a very disappointing experience. Food was okay; some of the tapas were suuuper greasy. Truffle baguette didn’t really have any truffle. Portions were small, considering the price. Sangria recipe wasn’t quite right, unfortunately. Server was often rude and dismissive to me, specifically. She seemed to be interested in making sure my husband well catered to. For example, we noticed how she offered him the wines we ordered to taste, but she did not take that courtesy with me despite we having different orders. She made it clear to ask him how HE likes the food. I was very unfortunate the entire time. Santa Fe is full lovely places - I would not spend my money here
