The concepts boasts 3 floors offering a lively, buzzy, Manhattan style surrounding, including private dining and contemporary heated smoking area. The interior is mirrored to match the stylish elegance of its sister restaurant in Cork with intricate floor tiling, pewter style bar, cosy booths and intimate lighting.
Like Cork, the menu consists of premium steaks and quality seafood, an extensive drinks list with cocktails, new world beers and a vast wine list.
Both Cornstore buildings were selected because of their historic presence and the belief that the old and new can be successfully combined to create an old style feel with a modern ambiance.
Every time I eat at the Cornstore, I'm glad I came back. Everything from their steaks to their seafood is always spot on delicious and served at the proper temperature. Not a big fan of the smashy peas, but it's Ireland!
Enjoyed and the staff were very friendly just felt for a nice meal for a couple it was more bar than restaurant
Vero nice and cool restaurante
Not only for young people
The noise was too much but it was very crowded so it makes sense
Service very kind and fast
Food very good , not only local cuisine something different and good balanced
Excellent service. Fantastic food. Will be back
For our anniversary I booked dinner at the cornstore with complimentary champagne and dessert I couldn’t fault the night.
Loved our meal in cornstone - the chicken wings are a must try and the quality of the steak was excellent.
My partner had a fresh tomato salad to start which she loved and a fish dish that was light and full of flavor. It’s a lively venue which we wanted - everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves so not for a quiet night!
The food and service are second to none here and the ambience is spot on. We will be returning next time we are in Limerick. Top class!
Best restaurant in Limerick and best restaurant I've been to. Every time the food is exceptional, the staff are so helpful and atmosphere is fantastic. Could not recommend it highly enough
Menu looked nice. Food very average.
Although the staff were very friendly and helpful there were too many of them constantly coming up to table.
Great customer experience, really personalised to our needs, exceed our expectations. Would recommend to a friend
Beautiful setting & attention to detail food was amazing❤️
Great place for a meal in Limerick - loved the food and the atmosphere.
Dinner was super
Starters and main course
A lovely place To go
Correctly and friendly
Go and enjoy
Top notch again for lunch at cornStore on limerick. My friend and I had our usual of stir fry noodles with chicken and side order of fries.
Taste just gets better and better with this dish. Have to compliment chef on firstly having this dish on the menu. Long may it stay on the menus at cornStore limerick.
The staff at cornStore limerick very friendly and they getting to know me and my friend and what we like.
Must try another dish someday but for now the stir fry noodles with chicken are divine. Thanks cornStore in limerick
Third visit to Cornstore and it just seems to get better. Reserved through opentable and received prompt confirmation and a timely reminder as well. Food was exceptional once again, as was the service.
Very busy with a great Saturday night buzz but that's expected I suppose. Hope to return again soon.
Comida de gran calidad. Servicio excelente. Llegamos media hora antes de la reserva y no hubo ningún problema en asignarnos una mesa.
La preparación de los platos es muy buena y la experiencia culinaria fue muy buena.
Worth every penny! Great food and service
Attentive waiters. Good atmosphere. Good food. Good wine selection
Had lunch again with friend in cornStore limerick. We always go for the stir fry noodles with chicken and side order of fries/chips. What can I say and also speak for my friend. It's absolutely mouth watering. The the noodles and chicken with vegetables in scheawan sauce. It's to die for.
We be back again in couple more weeks. I do hope they never take off the stir fry from the menu.
Beautiful decor and ambience. Service is great with attentive and friendly staff. Great quality and well presented tasty food. Incidental but brilliant find on my 1st visit to Limerick.
Good menu choice and good quality food. nice atmosphere too and professional service.
Good buzzy atmosphere, friendly professional staff, nice drinks nice food , we will definitely go back
Great food, service and atmosphere!
I have sent a formal complaint via email to the restaurant
Hidden gem. Staff were great. Nice ambiance and decor. Will be back again for sure.
Not our first visit to the Cornstore and certainly not our last. Such a variety of dishes to choose from and don't get me started on the cocktails!!! All in a fab night with fab food.
Da passt einfach alles, schönes Ambiente, tolles Essen und aufmerksames, sehr freundliches Servicepersonal.
Friendliest restaurant staff in Limerick City - highly recommend this restaurant.
First impressions, outside area is scruffy with no ashtrays so cigarette buts on the ground. Greeted by friendly staff. Bar area is comfortable and looks nice. Got menus which were paper, soiled with food and looked like they had been stored in someone’s pocket.
Got drinks at the Bar. Pinot and a pale ale. The Pinot was nice but cheeky at €8 a glass. Beer was bottled and came with a glass that was roasting hot fresh out of the dishwasher. Asked for glass to be replaced and received a tepid Guinness glass. No head when the beer was poured indicating the detergent had not been properly rinsed from the glass.
Seated upstairs which is a beautiful room. Again staff were friendly and attentive.
Jug of water and two glasses which was never replenished.
Started with crusty flatbread with goats cheese and carmalised onion, was over cooked greasy and tasteless.
Cornstore aged beef burger. €19.50
Dried out, tasteless inedible. truffle mayo was sour and also inedible.Chips were soggy.
Cornstore Red Curry €18
Spicy not much flavor. Dumplings were more like pre made gnocchi. Flat bread was again burnt, greasy and tasteless.
Staff noticed that both mains had been barely touched and asked if everything was ok. After being told we were unhappy staff spoke with management who comped a round of drinks and the sides.
We decided to stay for desert.
Sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble. Both were tasty and very large portions.
Finally the bathrooms, only one male and one female toilet upstairs and adjacent to the kitchen. The hallway between the kitchen and toilets was filthy, dirty sticky carpet with a dustpan overflowing with rubbish propped against the wall. It was less then two meters from the kitchen door to the toilet door. The toilets were small, scruffy and not very clean.
Overall very poor and overpriced. Go somewhere else
I booked the Cornstore for the weekend as a party of 6. This was a very special family reunion for us and as we entered we were welcomed by a magnificant setting and charming hosts. The menus offered a wide variety of choice, which included all of my favourites. The prawn pil-oil was delicious with 3 of us ordering this dish, and we enjoyed each and every bite. Everyone loved their main courses with a mix of the steaks, fish and vegetarian dishes. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was excellent, with each host being very attentive, humorous and had a great memory for each of our requirements. The Cornstore made it a night to remember. Thank you. Ciara
Delicious food, fab cocktails and Roman was a gentleman serving us. Would definitely go back again!
Amazing food and amazing service! Would highly recommend
Food was great as always. However, the service was terrible. One waitress took my order and never came back with my drink. I simply had to re-order from someone else 20 minutes later. Another waitress brought a wrong drink and then tried to blame the person who had actually order the correct one. She actually started to argue with the customer over it. I was shocked. Then, just before we left we asked a waiter to take a photo of the table as it was a very special occasion, he obliged but was incredibly rude and arrogant about it. Even so that customers another table witnessed his response and kindly offered to take the photo for us. Finally, an involuntary 60 euro tip was added to the bill. The service that we received that night absolutely did not deserve such a tip, however, we had no choice in the matter.
Last night in Ireland and a terrific dining experience
The food and service were excellent. The ambiance is appealing. Many thanks to Roman who served us excellently!
The dining experience was top notch. Food was delicious, service was excellent and I would go back there any time we are in Limrick.
Lovely restaurant that I would highly recommend for food only downfall for me was a Glass of wine cost €8 which is a bit too much in my opinion!
Fantastic service. Excellent food. Looked after by a gentleman waiter named James.
Finished off the meal with a superb cocktail.
Overall a splendid evening!
Eat here again on Friday. Again myself and my friend went with the egg fried noodles with chicken and side order of chicken.
The sauce the noodles and the vegetables and chicken were amazing. We have already booked to return for lunch in couple weeks.
It’s always such a pleasure to dine at the Cornstore in Limerick. Looking forward already the next time
