Modern Diner. Global Fare. Delicious Fun. This is The Mockingbird. Led by talented culinary duo executive chef / partner Brian Riggenbach and front-of-house extraordinaire / partner Mikey Corona, The Mockingbird offers a menu of comfort classics with a global twist and an ambiance of art deco diner whimsy. Walls are covered in beautiful custom-made wallpaper, painted tin tiles on the ceiling, windows open to two patios as weather allows and a larger-than-life mirrored bird sculpture overlooking the dining room. And then there’s the food and drink! Munch on a Mockingburger or Mac N Cheese (aka Feeling Grate!) while sipping an Old-Fashioned-ish or a Punchin’ Bag (ask about it – they are famous!). We also love hosting group events! We have a private dining room, an upstairs dining room and an enclosed patio, all perfect for bridal showers and bachelorette parties plus business lunches and corporate dinners. Y’all come see us! **Reservation cancelation policy is strictly enforced**

Food is the definition of mid. Celery root n the mini grilled chz were off the chain Pork belly was decent but it’s hard to mess up small pieces that you fry The baller was worth the price Burger was absolutely not best in the city… bacon was good but hugh babies n shake shack embarrass this burger n neither claim the title Jerk wings are insulting… chicken cooked correctly but you lost your damn mind to call them jerk wings Also stop selling pasta you do not know how to cook, prepare or serve it… Service was great truly outstanding n saved the food My advice to the chef would be to always continue to learn and grow. Your claim to fame should not be from 15 years ago.

The food was pretty good. We still had to add more seasoning but that's not the worst thing in the world. We felt pressured and rushed out because I guess brunch was over. It really soured the whole experience. So, honestly, I guess it's a decent place. It was mostly empty when we arrived at 1:30 on Sunday.

I had the pleasure of eating at the Mockingbird Diner for brunch on 11/2/24. The service was great and all food selections in our party were fabulous. There were 2 children under 5 in our party; we were pleased to be offered a substantial, well thought out kids menu- the presentation on a sectioned tray complete with child friendly utensils was outstanding. Get the “bubbles in a bag”!!

We had a party of 7, but one person was running late. Even though we told them one more person was coming, they gave us 6 waters. Had to ask for one more. Then we ordered apps and we only had 6 plates/cutlery so I had to take a set from the table next to us. After we were done with our apps they didn’t clear the dirty plates before bringing out the main courses. We had to stack the dirty app plates to the side of the table ourselves to make room for the entrees. After they dropped off the food they still didn’t take the dirty app plates (that were stacked on top of a pile of menus because they hadn’t taken those either). I had to ask them to remove the dirty plates so we could have more space on the table. Guests shouldn’t have to ask to have plates removed. The servers should be observant and remove them; especially before they bring the entrees.

Food and drink were amazing. Cannot go wrong with the pork belly or grill cheese appetizers! Have a craft cocktail you won’t regret it! Loved the beverage in a bag!
