Server was great, but wasn’t all that available. Long times between table visits, and when he was there seemed very rushed like he needed to get going. Appetizers, adult beverages and desserts were delicious, mains were not great. Half the steak was fatty to where it wasn’t edible (edible half was fabulous - cooked to perfection), chicken burger came out cold, fries were cold.

The service was great. The meal was delicious. We liked the dynamite roll and spinach dip appetizers. The burger was great and the kung poa chicken was hot and delicious. Didn’t have room for dessert. We found the prices to be high.

Food was only okay considering the price. Place was almost empty but we were sat in the bar. Watched a staff member drop a table cleaning cloth where they were standing and then walk past it. Yep more staff walked right by it until a third picked it up and grab the cleaning solution. Off to clean a table !!

Overpriced with poor service. Received 1 drink during our entire meal. Went for our anniversary and nothing special even offered. Got sat in the lounge.

My meal was cold the rice was not cooked properly and the salmon was extreme salty. The asparagus was soggy. I did not give them an opportunity to satisfy the situation I did not want to embarrass the table so I am sure they would have made it right. Patio was delightful. Other meals there have always been good

We love Earls and have been going for years. We were a little disappointed with the service last night though. We showed up at the restaurant 1.5 hours before a planned movie at the theatre thinking this would give us plenty of time to eat and get to the movie theatre. Our server was very nice and friendly and when I ordered the kung pao chicken, I let her know about my peanut allergy and she said that the kitchen could make the meal peanut free without adding peanuts to the top. Our food was taking a very long time to come out after ordering, and we had to leave soon to get to our movie on time, so we asked our server if she could check the kitchen. We waited about 10 minutes for her to come back, in which she brought the food but said it was held up because the kitchen accidentally made the kung pao chicken with peanuts so they had to make it again. We wolfed down our supper as we only had about 10 minutes to make it on time. I only was able to eat half of my meal and had to get the rest packed up to take home. As we were driving to the movie theatre, I experienced an allergic reaction (I’m assuming from the chicken dish). I am not sure if there was cross contamination with the dishes used to cook the meal, or if there was in fact peanut oil used in the dish. Overall, it was not a great experience. Luckily we made our movie on time (barely) but hope to not have such a rushed experience next time.

Food was good, but it took almost an hour to get our entrees, even though the restaurant itself was not busy. Averaged $75 per person with drinks, meal and tip. I feel the value was not there. Wonderful old building makes it an interesting destination.

Really good food and service - fries were a bit cold but still tasty. Chicken Hunan Kung Pao was exceptional!
