    We had reservations pre theatre. Were seated promptly & tried several things. We loved the risotto, salmon johnnycakes, but didn’t care too much for the lamb meatballs. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu. All in all we had a nice dining experience

    What a find! Perfect service, great ambience, and delicious food including vegan options. The food is creative, too. We even got to sit lounge-style. Really worth it.

    Y’all, when I say run, don’t walk, to this incredible restaurant, I absolutely mean it. I wanted to treat my partner to a night out on the town, and stumbled across Chartreuse when I was looking for an elevated dining experience. The wait staff were incredible. The food, divine. The experience, a true chef’s kiss. Would absolutely come back to try the menus from all of the different seasons.

    We always have a great experience when we dine at Chartreuse. Begin your visit by ordering one of their delicious signature drinks made with Chartreuse such as "The Last Word" while you peruse the menu. We start our meal with the twice-cooked egg with salad greens and then order another choice or two after finishing our starter. When you have finished, they have fantastic desserts. Everything is made with the freshest ingredients and cooked to perfection. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. Chartreuse is located on Woodward Ave. next to the Detroit Institute of Arts in a very safe and pleasant area of the city. Close to Comerica Park, Ford Field, Little Caesars Arena, and the Detroit Opera House, Chartreuse is a great place to dine before or an event or just for an exceptional meal. Two thumbs up, my wife and I both highly recommend it!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Chartreuse. This was a busy Saturday night and so of course we had a reservation. We never had to wait and got seated right away. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was all delicious and fresh. The menu had some very creative and unique dishes, making it hard to decide what to order. Luckily many of them are only small to medium-sized and so we ordered several and shared some of them. I'm not a big fan of lamb but the meatballs were really good. One of the signature cocktails was a dark rum drink and the name escapes me but it was fantastic. I'm not a big fan of dessert but the vanilla pudding, while sounding boring, had a great combination of flavors. I probably ate too much of it but I just couldn't help myself. Highly recommended restaurant.
