Lovely venue, fried chicken and crispy spring rolls are outstanding! I’m from Australia and eat BBH and Pho regularly and as my first experience in the UK of BBH it didn’t hit the mark for me. The broth when initially tasted felt like it needed a lot more work and I couldn’t build the flavour I’m used to with the herbs etc unfortunately. The beef was a bit dry and chewy, it overpowered the rest of the dish. While it didn’t hit the mark for me, I’m still glad I tried it. I’d recommend tissues on the tables and Hoisin sauce. Thanks

We were seated quite quickly but then things went downhill. 10-15mins gone my daughter had to flag down a waiter to take the order and give us some water. The prawn crackers and water came out fairly quickly then nothing. Another 25-30mins. We ask a waiter to check our order. She comes back saying they are just going to make it and it got lost in the online orders. Meanwhile two other tables arrived after us and are eating their food…! The ridiculous part is I want to talk about the food. They then serve 3 of us, then an another veggie spring rolls starter, then another 10mins my Pho Noodles chicken and prawn. The other dishes we had a Spicy Chicken Soup, Pho Chicken Curry with Prawns, Super Green with Tofu. All excellent flavours and portions, when they eventually came, and all served hot. I would definitely go again but seriously disappointed with the service. No real apology given either. 5 stars for the food, 1 star for the service. Servers need to check in on their guests. This didn’t happen at all.

We were looking for somewhere to eat near the Lyceum. We choose Pho and were not disappointed. The food was great. Lots to choose from especially for vegans. Loved the prawnless crackers. Drinks were amazing. We will definitely be back.

We booked our table in advance. When we arrived the restaurant was less than half full. The doorway way crowded with delivery drivers. We stood and waited to be seated. Staff walked past us multiple times without any acknowledgement. After a 10 minute wait watching staff mill about a very quiet restaurant we were eventually seen to. There was no attempt to apologise for any delay. As Edinburgh has so many good places we decided to take our business elsewhere. Very disappointing

First visit tonight but will definitely not be my last. Food was absolutely delicious, couldn’t have been better. Service was excellent, all the staff were very friendly. Already looking forward to coming back!
