Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     We were a big group, 10 people. We were celebrating a birthday. Our servers were very patient, considerate and courteous. We did not know how to split the bill but our server made it easy for us. Thank you so much.

    Always wonderfully prepared and delicious dishes. Service was impeccable Only constructive comment would be hostess staff to smile and make contact when a party walks up the stairs. This is the third time we were curtly told to stand “over there” for a few minutes. Everything else is outstanding.

    Jay was a great server and helped us make our selections. We had a special celebration and Jay made it very amazing. Excellent service. Additionally our food was wonderful! Ordered filet mignon and rack of them. All was prepared deliciously and beautifully. Great service and great food. Excellent atmosphere for a celebration and any occasion.

    Had a great time celebrating a birthday. The table was decorated, we received celebratory bubbly and dessert. Our waiter, Derrick, was awesome. The leftovers were delicious.

    Capital Grille never disappoints. Had a delicious business lunch. My only observation is with the lobster bisque. It was heavy on the cream which overpowered the delicate flavors from the lobster. It also made the sherry wine unnoticeable.

    We chose the Capital Grille in Costa Mesa to have a very special dinner experience, as we were looking to entertain a family friend, whom we haven’t seen in over a decade. We couldn’t be more pleased that we did. Given the occasion, we had very high expectations for this event and this staff’s professionalism and dedication to their craft, far exceeded our expectations. Our guest was incredibly impressed and later called us to express their gratitude. Thanking us for the most amazing dinner encounter of their lives. We couldn’t believe his choice of words as our guest of honor moves in some of the most sophisticated circles we know of. Thank you for this memory, one we will never forget! Our server, Tim Barber, his assistant Jorge Morales and the management team, who all supported and stopped by our table to ensure this company’s clearly defined standards were: Joe Geppi, Carl Laviola, Heather Verre.

    It was a special birthday celebration and the staff always goes out of their way to make it special. The food was delicious and the champagne and dessert were delightful. It is the perfect place to celebrate a birthday.
