Recently opened, Zizzi in Liverpool can be found on Paradise Street in the new Liverpool One shopping centre. Everyone knows about Liverpool's greatest export, and our restaurant is located a mere 2 minutes from the Beatles Museum. Slightly further still is Matthew St, home to the famous Cavern Club where the band first took off.

Me and my family went to celebrate Mother’s Day. The menu was good, the food was nice and a good variety of drinks. The only issue we had was that our booking was not on their system, they did however honour the booking as I showed them my confirmation.

We waited 50 minutes for our starter - garlic bread! Then a further half an hour for our mains. Apparently the chefs were trainees and were getting the order of orders mixed up so customers who arrived after us got served before us. As compensation we did not get charged for the starter and a main but that did not compensate the long wait for food.

Such a shame. We had a great meal but the service was sooo slow. We had booked a table so were shown to it on arrival but then the wait began. 15 minutes before we got a drink and 40 minutes before we got our starter -after reminding them we were still waiting. Didnt bother asking for another drink or a pudding! Not sure who was at fault - kitchen or servers. People arriving after us were told there was a 30 minute wait for food so presume it was the kitchen. There didnt appear to be anyone in charge to complain to. The "hostess" looked about 16 and very bewildered.

Needing to eat between Haydock races and a show at the Arena, Liverpool One is ideally located, and Zizzi's is just one of many places available, but always popular with us as you can rely on the service, the food and all at a reasonable price. Perfect location for pre-show meals at the Arena

I booked a table for myself and my girlfriend through your site, on 13th Feb, for the following evening. I received a confirmation email, and all was good. I then received a phone call the next day telling me that the restaurant was fully booked, leaving me no time to find another restaurant. Either your site or the restaurant is to blame for a valentines day dinner in front of the TV, and I will be reluctant to use either of your services again.

Zizzis always has good food.you know what you are getting.nothing spectacular but all good quality and with their 25% off food it was a good bargain. I booked for 11 people the night before so was very pleased they could squeeze us in. It is in avert handy position at Liverpool One so lunch was combined with a bit of shopping.

Booked Zizzi through Top Table for lunch on Tuesday 7th August 2012. Not been here before. Lovely food, great service and will return. Zizzi reluctant to accept our Top Table cheque as "we don't accept cheques". However, the manager did take the cheque and said he'd ring Top Table. I left my number and asked them to let me know the outcome. The manager did say that although he would accept the TT cheque, he will not accept any future cheques, so there's no point in us staying members of TOP TABLE. Pity.

5 of us dined at Zizz, 14 Paradise Street, Liverpool. Food was excellent and service very good. I felt that it was very good value for money. Good ambience in the restaurant and I would definately recommend it.

Foods was great as always. Despite the place being full and lots of people who hadnt booked being turned away or not willing to wait 45mins for food the service was a little slower than it could have been. Our fault for not booking an earlier slot really.

The reception was non existent and our waiter was rushing us all of the time. No olives in stock to order :-( The starters were fairly reasonable. Excellent garlic bread with cheese. Very nice pasta dish with seafood. Appalling tomato and mozzarella thin crust 'special' pizza - the only special thing about it was it was like half cooked dough and with hardly any topping - pathetic. Overall, what was good was good but everything else was poor. I would not rush back here!!!!!

Zizzi Liverpool-The location is fab and with the wonderful weather, we could have been on holiday. It was lively,busy and good fun. The food was okay- not fantastci- but okay.The service was fine. I guess when a place is really busy it's difficult to get out plate after plate of really impressive food.

Zizzi in Liverpool is on the top floor of Liverpool One among a raft of restaurants. The whole place is lively and friendly with outdoor seating. We chose to sit indoors and had a nice table at the front of the restaurant. Our waitress (from Bristol but in love with Liverpool) was excellent. There was none of the hard sell I have experienced in Zizzi Birmingham so it was relaxed. We intended having the recommended white wine but there was none. The alternative was fine. The food was good.

We found Zizzi to be very disappointing. It was noisy and made worse by the bar staff dropping empty bottles onto empty bottles. There were lots of young children crying and screaming. Service was unattentive and very slow. Food was indifferent. A disappointinge evening out.

Zizzi - Leopold Sq Sheffield. Really pleasant atmosphere and the staff were great. Food was very good quality and with the 2 for £12 deal it was a very affordable meal out.

We visited Zizzi, Leopold Square, Sheffield on a Saturday lunchtime before going to the theatre. The service was friendly and speedy and the food excellent.
