Excellent food and service. The only disappointing thing was the 12.5% service charge added to the bill. A tip is a personal choice and you should not be made to feel obliged to pay it. This was not pointed out by the server when handing over the bill very unprofessional.

Fabulous welcome, excellent menu choice, nice atmosphere. Cocktails and olives were a fantastic choice to start, Food was delicious. Attentive friendly staff. Good quality and presentation of food. Excellent all round!

On arrival we turned up with another couple with a booking at the same time, asked if we could be seated together or near each other and they went out of their way to accommodate us. So a massive Thank You for that. Food and service were absolutely awesome and would highly recommend the Sunday Roast.

Overall just was not a great experience. It was me and my partners first time there and we didn’t enjoy it at all. There was no flavoured gin and only 2 options of rose wine and the one I was recommended was not nice at all. The starters was great but the main was nothing special. The chips portion came so small. The onion rings were just lumps of onion in a thick batter that was very oily. The mac n cheese was dried out. The steak was asked to be cooked medium and it came more rare and the quality of meat was not great. I never complain about a restaurant it’s not like me at all but I was extremely disappointed as this is a popular steak restaurant that has been recommended time and time again. I did not have the heart to complain as our waiter was great he was so happy and bubbly and done fab. I’m sure his name is Fraser. Me and my partner left feeling hungry as the portions were too small and I’m not a huge eater and even I felt hungry afterwards. Overall I’m just disappointed and the meal was not cheap by any means. It was very overpriced for what we got. This is my opinion on my experience.
