The restaurant was a little smaller than I thought, but it was comfortable. The waitresses were very nice and friendly. The food was OK; I felt that my french toast looked great but I wasn't blown away by the taste. My Mum had pancakes and enjoyed them but prefers them to be thicker. But the value is good and I'd probably go back there for lunch or dinner one day.

Popped in for dinner and drinks before seeing a show at the Bunker just down the road. Service was prompt and friendly, even though we were half an hour early for our reservation there was no problem with seating us. Happy hour made drinks very reasonable and the house white was delicious. Food was interesting and tasty. Would definitely return.

Very kind and excellent! I visited at 8:00 on Sunday before the start of business, but it was kindly welcomed and served a hot tea. The food was excellent at the level of 7-8 pounds. Recommendable to anyone. It seems to appeal a lot of families. We even come by taxi.

Very good food and nice for brunch. Service was friendly but a little too laid back; we wanted for 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seen let alone seated and it took some time for our orders to be taken, bill paid etc. This is fine providing you are in a ‘lazy Sunday’ mood which we were.

Plenty of choice in the Brunch menu. However, when I had looked at the menu earlier on line, I had not noticed that they were only serving the brunch menu. it was not made clear anywhere. Nonetheless, the food was good and our 'fussy' eater had plenty to choose from. Perhaps a good idea to point out that Sunday menus are different. Food very tasty, well presented and plentiful. Staff delightful, efficient and speedy. Seating outside was enjoyable. They have not crammed tables together. There are only two loos, one of which - the disabled loo! - was out of order - door handle not operating. . And the other one was without toilet paper. This situation is something that needs to be sorted. Loos need to be functioning, and have paper, so need to be checked frequently. The restaurant was very busy so the loos were in great demand. But we would return. And we would recommend it to others.

This was our second time to this restaurant. Our first experience was poor so we thought we’d give it a second chance. Unfortunately it was the same experience. Poor staff, poor service, poor food. Not sure why it always seems busy. Way overpriced for what you get.

Warm welcome and served with tap water straightaway. We were up against a deadline and were served quickly without being rushed. On requesting an alternative to brioche bun with the Home Burger, sourdough was suggested - good choice. Succulent burger and not over-served with chips. Good for a quick lunch or a lingering lunch in the outdoor space.

First time at the Table Cafe, with a friend for brunch on a Sunday. Despite being mad busy service was really quick and friendly. I had a rhubarb Bellini which was lush, and also a full English breakfast, which was really nicely cooked with good quality ingredients, not greasy and nasty at all. The waffles also looked really good. Would definitely return!

Service was very poor, we waited for about 20 minutes until someone took our order, then another 20-30 for the food. Food was tasty but quite overpriced for portion sizes. We avoided ordering dessert fearing it would be another half an hour before it arrived, and had to wait even longer for a card reader. Suggested tip was very high was lack of service. Was very disappointed.

Service was painfully slow and doors left open to facilitate serving rather than keeping customers warm. Waited 40 minutes for food. However the food was good and location ideal for Tate Modern. As we had timed tickets we didn’t have time for coffee or a desert...not good for us or the accounts

Lovely place. Have been here quite a few times for brunch and it never disappoints. The English breakfast on a waffle is especially great. In the summer it's worth sitting outside as it's in a quiet area away from traffic, so it's ideal for a catch-up

This place is always a great dining experience, my family rejoice when I name it. We visit The Table Cafè at brunch or dinner and is consistently outstanding! A very friendly staff is ready to tailor your experience with a big smile. The spotlight is promptly stolen by their dishes. They look as good as they taste and are made with carefully sourced ingredients. Locally sourced Beers in rotation and a good wine selection will bring you near and far on a flavour journey. Make room for a dessert too, you won’t be disappointed. And the smiles again, at some point you’ll be confused on who’s enjoying more… Wow, will definitely be back again!

Went for brunch on a weekday. Although I had already called to establish that the brunch specials were available on a weekday the waiter didn't know this and didn't bring us the brunch menu. And seemed very confused about this. The waiter also didn't know what the homemade sodas were. The outside "terrace" is rather bleak and uninviting. Food was fairly average. Wasn't terrible but a bit of a disappointment. Wouldn't rush to return.

We’ve been here for breakfast a few times before (the first was our anniversary and this time was our anniversary also) The breakfast menu has got smaller on each visit but this time my full English was substandard. My medium eggs were well done and the bacon looked grey around the fatty bits. My cup of Mocha was hot whilst my wife’s was luke warm although they were delivered at the same time.
