   We enjoyed our trip to Ale Mary’s. We had two vegetarians in our group so the Vegan section of the menu made it easy to accommodate everyone. The drink selection was pretty extensive. Overall feedback on the food was 3-5 stars depending on what was ordered. Service was fast and friendly and our waitress was also knowledgeable on the food and drink selection.

   The food was good, tons of vegan options. Was excited to try the fried pickles but the breading fell right off. The server had too many tables and we often waited very long for refills and to be checked on. The place itself is a fun vibe but the seating was awkward

   The food was delicious as always however our waitress was a bit aggressive and unwelcoming. She didn’t come to check on us during our meal and seemed irritated that she had to wait on us.

   Have been here before yesterday was the most disappointing. My wife is vegan and we travel far to eat here on occasion and made reservations. There was absolutely no vegan chicken available was told they were out. Many menu items feature vegan chicken. Huge disappointment. Chili cheese fries barely had vegan meat and hardly any cheese at all. $15 for fries and the serving was less than expected. Separate side order of fries was very small. When I went home I was hungry. Wish it was a better experience but for the price it was terrible. Just know the cost is high. The problem was my expectations were higher.

   I always love going to Ale Marys for their vegan food. Any time I post about it though on vegan detroit, it looks like the main complaints are the food and shake prices, so I'm worried that they will get rid of the menu if there isn't much support. I gave it 4 stars for the food only because the business to cut costs, are using prepackaged coffee and not grinding beans anymore, and we were served the new coffee and it was absolutely awful. Even the waitress tried it and was embarrassed. I don't know what establishment implements something new without trying it first. It tasted like someone dumped a tablespoon of salt in it. It was a fresh batch. I will always support Ale Marys as long as they keep the vegan menu. I love all the new dishes/weekly or monthly specials. The only downside is , that may be the only time you will ever have it . The prices are higher than other vegan establishments, and I'm not sure who's paying $20 for a shake, with no alcohol in it, but it's there for a special occasion I guess.

   l love our waitress, more than anything, with all my heart🙏🏻, she is truly awe inspiring with her skill and talent working the bar and tables, Amy is the best - i want everyone to ask for Amy, we always do and didn't this evening but got Amy anyway - great waitress and human being, we love her

    We went for the vegan food and left satisfied, everything we ordered was delicious (McMarys burger sub black bean patty, penne pasta, Buffalo cauliflower sharable, patio daze drink). We went the day after Vegfest so they were out of a lot of the vegan menu items, including the milkshakes which we were really looking forward too. The food and service were really good tho so now we have a reason to go back
