Very good dinner, just a little slow.
Great food with a lively atmosphere
It was ok--nothing outstanding and glasses of wine of my preference weren't available so I drank water--sales were lost!
Hostess was friendly and seated us promptly. The menu was varied with plenty of interesting selections.
Our server and wait staff were courteous and worked very capably. The food was excellent. In all, our first time here would easily call us back for more visits. Highly recommended !
We discovered this place after a full racing day at Saratoga and can't say enough good things about it. It was just a very pleasurable experience right until the end when our server gave us a complimentary loaf of outstanding, rustic bread. We will definitely return.
Been coming once a year for many years now, always consistently excellent
We always have such a great experience here. Service was a little slower than usual, but Jason was very pleasant. The atmosphere is very homey, and the food is great!! We enjoy coming for happy hour too!!
We have been going to Pasta Pane for a long time. I have recommended this place to friends and family several times. However, our last experience was disappointing. Our server was not friendly and the bar was extremely loud. We were with an older person who could not engage in the conversation due to the noise. We asked the server several questions and she did not answer them thoroughly or really seem engaged in the conversation. Additionally, our table was not leveled and wobbled back and forth until one of the men filling water noticed and fixed it (our waitress had been to our table several times). After ordering we waited over an hour to receive our meals. The food was good, but the experience with our waitress left a bad taste in our mouths I hope when/if we return Pasta Pane can be redeemed.
Food is delicious. Service is attentive. Outdoor pattio is cool and inviting. Had a good time.
Food is always delicious, but we were there for too long and it wasn’t that busy Tuesday evening. No apps, I got a side Cesar salad and we got entrees. Reservations were at 715 and we left at 9. The white sangria was yucky and the server didn’t ask me how it was, so I just left it. He liked his 2 glasses of Merlot. Also as a server myself, I found it bizarre that the server open the check book to count the cash. Thought that was tacky concerning he and I were on a date and he probably didn’t want me to know how much it cost even though he asked for my input regarding the tip.
Always a pleasure dining at Pasta Pane -
Never disappointed at this local gem. Good and service are always outstanding
Good food, but not a great place to take older children. Ordered angel hair and pizza and took over 40 minutes to get food. Last tome we we here took over an hour for kids food. Our boys can normally hold out 30 minutes but that was just too long. Also really dark inside, nearly impossible to read menu as middle aged man. Probably a good place to bring a date.
Would like to see more gluten free options and GF bread
It was a small dining room with close tables. It is the ultimate Italian Dinning, however the food was extremely salty and not very good. 3 of the 4 of us had pasta, nobody liked their meal. One had pollo pane which would have been great except how do you make arugula and tomatoes salty and the potatoes were tasteless. Glad we tried the place but we wont be back.
We loved the relaxed feel of the outside dining. Nicely done... Dinner and drinks were excellent We plan on returning to sample some of the other entrees. We enjoyed the evening ...
Always a “ go-to” for a quick dinner with the kids./ grandkids. Good children’s menu and specials are inventive enough for my son!
The restaurant looks like a grocery store from the outside. The interior is quaint, but the noise level is beyond belief, which can be attributed to the acoustics and the lack of any fabric that would absorb the noise. The seating is super uncomfortable, consisting of solid wood chairs and booths. The service was poor, as it took about 20 minutes for our sodas to arrive. The only redeeming quality is the food, if you don't mind waiting an hour from when you order. I have had the filet mignon with gorgonzola and it is incredible. I also had the pollo pane, which is basically the best chicken parm you'll ever have. So, i recommend the food, but maybe order it to go!!
Wonderful place. Nicely adorned. The service was great. The food was delicious. We ate off the happy hour menu, and the amount of choice and size of the dishes were ideal. I'll have to try some of the larger entrees next time. Pasta Pane is a place worth visiting, and I'll be sure to return.
Best deal in town Happy Hour! Brian always a terrific server.
Polo Pane Happy Hour portion just the right size.
Good food. Server was courteous and helpful. Will definitely go back.
Food was excellent and a nice variety compared to standard Italian restaurants. Service was excellent a nice surprise for that area where service is usually dismal.
Food was ok very pricey for what u get. I got a salad and literally was a bunch of greens not cut up in a bowl then I found 2 small sun dried tomatoes on the side of my bowl. I also ordered half size pasta that had about 8 rigatoni.
Food was great and the service was also good. It was a bit noisy which impacted the ability to have a conversation.
Various options for gluten free dining, prices are fair
The food is amazing - authentic with extremely well developed flavor. You simply can’t pick a bad pasta - go with others and ensure you order something different so you can share. Creme brûlée to finish is a must...
Happy hour great! Appetizers, dinner and dessert very good. We went there to celebrate our anniversary! We have eaten there a few times and always satisfied!
Table wasn’t ready when we arrived. Service super slow. ( under staffed).
The Brussels sprouts side was literally 3 sprouts cut into 1/4..., the smallest portion.
Pizza covers in greens, but no beets as described. Seems like they skimp I n every ingredient except pasta.
Great for graduation dinner!
The best fresh food - fantastic service. We frequent this restaurant and it never disappoints.
Overall all the food was good, though the cuts of filet mignon could have been a bit less fatty being it’s one of the best cuts of beef, however all was cooked to perfection. As for the above “food” rating, I only provided two stars simply because I found a medium length blonde hair in both the marinara sauce that came with the calamari appetizer, and another one in the Gorgonzola sauce that came with the one filet mignon entrée. We chose not to complain due to how busy the restaurant was, but it was a complete turnoff thus we ended up avoiding eating those items any further. I hope this feedback is helpful. Since this is the only time we had an unusual experience at your restaurant we will give it another try.
The food was GREAT! Service was pleasant. Ambiance was quite loud, so much so that if there was music, we didn’t hear it. But that didn’t take away from how tasty the food was. I would def recommend this restaurant to a friend for sure. The dishes are large, so sharing is a great idea. I had written that we were there for a birthday, and upon seating, we were wished a happy birthday which was a sweet touch.
Thank you guys, we really had a wonderful experience!
Food and service were excellent. I always get the organic pork chop, it was delish! Caesar salad never disappoints. Highly recommend. A bit noisy but well worth it.
Eating near bar area is very noisy but food was very good. Would go back but would request different area to sit.
The waitstaff was super annoying when it came to clearing plates. We were on a first date, chatting and getting to know one another and about every 10 mins someone wanted to take our plates. We still had plenty of food and we’re taking our time, not to mention we were continuously ordering drinks. It was a Monday night and there were plenty of open tables, so not sure what the rush was...
I would recommend Pasta Pane. The food was very good, the waiter was superb, and the price was actually lower than some other local restaurants with comparable menus.
However, I was not impressed with the noise level. The conversations are echoed throughout the restaurant.
Consistently great food, very good service, personal attention from the management, overall a very satisfactory experience!
Our family of 4 went to an early dinner on Easter Sunday. Our favorite waiter, John, took excellent care of us as always. A little disappointed at the lack of a brunch menu, but overall a great dinner!
This is our new favorite place for special occasions with the family or just the two of us for date night. Always a great meal, great service, great ambiance.
Food and service are exceptional.Outstanding quality.
