Saturday: 11am - 3pm, 5pm - 11:30pm
Sunday: 11:30am - 3:30pm, 5pm - 10pm
Visited for brunch. Had the chocolate brioche which was lovely to start but gets sickly. They should not add a layer of chocolate between the bread as you have the pouring chocolate for that. Cappucino was in a really small cup and no drinks menu so you dont know how much you will pay for your coffee. They also add £1 for charity, which of course you dont mind paying, but they should tell you about it before just adsing it to your bill. The decor is really pretty and we had a nice time. But there was alot of young loud people at 12pm on a saturday.
3rd visit now. Will be back.
Great lobster thermidor and professional service. The manager was very helpful
The food was superb and served at just the right pace. As it was a Sunday evening the restaurant was quiet but all the staff were very friendly and informative. The ambience although quiet still felt very comfortable and I loved the decor and history attached to the venue. The food was beautifully cooked and presented. I would love to return on a busier weekend
The restaurant deco was very nice and great for a date, food was good but the buttermilk pancakes weren’t brilliant. Service was rushed, immediately after being seated we were asked for our order and continuously asked until we had decided which made us feel rushed.
Great brunch. Service was really good. Really enjoyed the French milk chocolate toast!
We had a great time at Christopher's. The food was great and the service was outstanding. Jan our waiter was brilliant, always approachable and very knowledgeable. Thank you will we definitely be back.
Only problem with the service was we kept having to ask for our water glasses to be filled up (tap water rather than bottled!)- they could have left us a jug on the table. Otherwise an amazing 2 course breakfast & lovely coffee.
Excellent pre theatre meal. Courses arrived promptly but didn’t feel rushed.
We enjoyed the place all to ourselves, went for late dinner after a musical - arrived to find that we were the only one there! A little strange, but eventually enjoyed conversation and totally undivided attention
Amazing food and service, could not fault anything. Will definitely be returning and 100% recommend.
Great brunch here for our mixed age group of 5 which included an 82 year old, two 50 year olds and two 20 somethings! Lovely smoothies, attentive service, including an allergy friendly menu for our daughter with a peanut allergy. The Texan grill, crab maryland and burger all divine. Highly recommend parmesan truffle fries on the side. We were even tempted by a sharing dessert which was adapted for our daughter's allergy. We will return.
Fabulous pre theatre meal at Christopher’s. The staff were very accommodating and made a special occasion even more special. Highly recommended
Lovely restaurant. We went there before seeing a play. My husband had the lobster tail and I had the blackened salmon. Both were wonderful. There was a private party in the dining room, so we were seated in a smaller room which was very nice, but presented some logistical problems (had to go down a long stair case to us the rest rooms off the bar). Service was very attentive but not obtrusive.
Great food, great atmosphere. Fast service was great before theatre!
Beautiful layout, great location for theatre, great service.
Enjoyable brunch as usual though disappointed that all the eggs on both mains were over cooked with no runny yolks.
Other than that very good and the bar is one of the best in London for quality cocktails
We had a lovely meal served promptly but not rushed, we didn't have to call the waiter at all as he was very attentive but not intrusive.
Great pre theatre dinner .. perhaps a little bit rushed but can't fault the food
Not the first time we’ve been as a family, however, on this occasion the food was very slow to come (50mins), and the lobster was over cooked and dry, my lamb was bordering cold. Admittedly the manager did remove the lobster off the bill. Desserts were excellent though.
During dinner almost empty (3 tables), so atmosphere is a bit weird. Mushrooms enriched with cinnamon also weird. Steak so so la la, espresso not even so so la la grade. I won’t go back.
Lovely restaurant, food was amazing. Perfect for a special occasion.
Chocolate brioche french toast is a MUST! Definitely will be returning to try out their extensive brunch menu.
Perfect location for catching an afternoon and evening play. Food was delicious. Will definitely visit again and again.
I've been to Christopher's in the past for brunch and always found it an enjoyable experience but my recent trip there was for pre-theatre dinner and it didn't disappoint.
I found the pre-theatre menu good value for money and the service was friendly and professional. We ordered a Mac and Cheese with Lobster to share as a side and enjoyed that very much alongside our mains. Desserts were well presented and hit the sweet spot.
The atmosphere for brunch and the atmosphere for dinner are so different that I'm glad I did try coming here in the evening to experience it for myself. While the bar downstairs is rather busy and noisy and wouldn't be my first choice as a place to spend time, the restaurant upstairs where I've dined quite a few times now is lovely.
I went here for a friend’s birthday and had the most amazing time! Food was great! To top it off, I forgot to ask the waitress to put a candle in the birthday girls meal but she was one step ahead and organised it all without me asking! Will definitely be coming back.
Great food and service as always. This is my go to spot for the chocolate brioche French toast! Lovely service and atmosphere.
Excellent post-theatre cocktails and dinner. Perfect sized portions for late night dining.
Thank you for a very enjoyable birthday brunch for my daughter.
Beat steak in london! Love this place. Decor, ambience and service all excellent
Great Service and Great Food!! Done an amazing job on the dessert.
I’ve been recommended Christopher’s by a few people now so had high hopes. I left thinking it was distinctly average and overpriced (albeit very good service). The bread was warmed stale bread and the truffle chips were tasty bit like warm and soft drinks weren’t even cold. I won’t be going again.
Amazing place to have a lovely brunch I had gone to celebrate a friends birthday the only downfall was that they spelt her name wrong on the birthday plate
We’d do it again blah blah blah.. is that 50 characters?
We really loved our anniversary meal here. The food was beautifully prepared & presented. Excellent cocktails. Excellent service. The only downside was that it was very expensive - but worth it for a special treat. We'll be back!
As usual, excellent service and excellent food. Cocktails in the bar downstairs first and then dinner. Always a great meal here.
I have given 4* on the basis of previous experiences (4 to 5*) counteracting this time's 3*. One of my favourite restaurants for special occasions and post theatre dinners. I like the food and ambience. Three out of four steaks were cooked to order, but my medium rare sirloin and was at least medium - and a restaurant known for its steaks should be able to get that right. The four portions of chips were luke warm and had obviously been cooked earlier and left under a lamp.
Food was pretty average - the salmon portion was very small and the menu stated no dairy in the jambalaya risotto accompaniment but it has cheese in it.
I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to everyone and anyone. Took my girlfriend here for her 23rd birthday so I’m not free on expenditure at this age but the food was reasonably priced and the quality of it was excellent. Out of the many restaurants I’ve been to in and around the area, this is my favourite. The downstairs bar has an amazing vibe for pre-dinner drinks and a huge variety of cocktails too.
One tip - don’t leave without trying the cheesecake
Great food, excellent service perfect location for theatres. When in London again will definitely go back.
