   We have come back to the Mitre after over a year and certainly this once reliable pub has truly changed. Sadly, it took about an hour to get our order and in fact one of us got our meal 20 mins before the rest of us so he was seating alone.The Sunday beef roast was really bad to the point that the pub removed it from our bill. We won’t be coming back anytime soon. Hope the service and quality improves!

   Great Sunday roast. It was a bit busy so it took a while for the dishes to come out, but not so long it ruined the experience.

   Our 5th visit to the Mitre in a couple of years although this time just the two of us. Fantastic food and friendly & helpful staff. It was busy & as the weather was nice the outside was busy too which meant there was an occasional smell of cigarette smoke which drifted inside. That said, we will be be back next time we staying in Kensington.

   Been a fan of The Mitre for years but my visit was uneven. We had a great waiter but he was the only person handling tables both inside and outside! Food was good but not great. Both cask ales were out so that was a disappointment. Overall ok but think it will be a while before I venture back.

   Had a really lovely Sunday roast. Staff were very friendly and attentive, food was incredible. Only downside was that the staff disappeared after our meals were served which was a shame. Ambience was amazing, food was so tasty. Would definitely recommend.

   Absolutely love this restaurant, such a nice feel about it. So comfortable, staff are so helpful and friendly everytime we visit. Love the Sunday roast ( chicken) cooked to perfection and soo tasty. My friend also had her favorite knickerbocker glory. Also had some lovely cocktails. Such an enjoyable Sunday afternoon. Obviously I highly recommend the mitre. Like I always say after being there, cannot wait to go again

    Unfortunately the food wasn’t great at all. The burger was burnt and the fried chicken was impossible to chew. The service showed great understanding, I give them that, but that doesn’t change the fact that we didn’t have a great night.
