As always fantastic, great friendly service and great scones
Great place to bring your kids for a treat, amazing ice cream flovours anf a good cup of tea !
I wasn’t impressed with waiting stuff first of all. I could not understand what he was saying very clearly. The food I had was ok overall but nothing special. The strainer stuck in the spout of the tea pots is not a good idea. I had some spillage because of that.
On the website, it mentioned about appropriate clothing recommendations but I noticed there were some customers who were wearing a very worn torn t-shirt (armpit area) and scruffy jeans on. I didn’t expect to see that sort of clothing would be accepted.
Charming setting within the wonderful F & M ... note was taken subtly of it being a birthday and a candle cane perched in our amazing self created sundaes. Service was perfect thank you so much.
Given the name and prices, you would expect excellent service. Unfortunately the create your own ice cream sundaes we ordered were made incorrectly (one of them twice), with only a vague apology as we were leaving. Compared to a previous visit, the service was definitely lacking.
Delicious Afternoon Tea. Perfect for a special treat! Felt a bit rushed to make our decisions about what we wanted to eat though. Will be back again for future celebrations.
It was my first time in the F&M parlour yesterday. The staff are lovely, kind and they made sure I was being looked after beautifully even though all I wanted to order was a cup of coffee with almond milk and a croissant! I will definitely be back. Thank you for having me F&M xxx
Superb place ! For Pleasure, excellent food market , unique shopping place!! I recommend to everyone!
We have been here a few times and it has always been great. I even like to go without the kids as the ice cream sundaes are as amazing for adults as they are for children. Fortnum’s have created a place with delicious food and a nice atmosphere. I don’t feel I have to watch my elbows as much as I do at the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon.
Better for children.
Very loud, dirty uncleared tables and they had run out of a number of items on the menu.
They do try though and the staff are lovely.
It’s was extremely busy but the ice cream
Was lovely. We had to sit for a while before we were attended to... made the kids a little restless. In all, nice afternoon out.
Overall an excellent visit for families. Food, service and atmosphere excellent
My duaghters first time at the Parlour. We went as a special ice cream treat. She loved the choice and being able to create her own. Flavours were lovely and she can't wait to go back.
On being seated the hostess did ask if this was a special occasion like birthday, it wasn't but nice to be asked.
I've been going for ice cream at Fortnum and Mason for about 16 years. The staff are wonderful (especially Dawid) and I love the ice cream here. My favourites are the classics (the knickerblocker glory and banana split). Whenever I'm feeling blue I come here. Would definitely recommend this Parlour.
Staff were very nice but very rushed and pushy with ordering and table not cleaned with food coming at different times and slammed down not what you would expect from F&M and the worst part it was a surprise for a 14 year old and the topping on the make your own dessert were dreadful very hard marshmallows, run out of honeycomb which the other tables seem to have so put some crushed up bits on top that were just awful and the smallest amount of popping candy which again they said was running out - one went back which should have been the highlight so overall a very lacklustre experience
Made our trip to London perfect! I had eaten there a decade ago and somehow couldn't forgot how sweet the Parlor had been, especially the honey bee sundae. So glad to be back a few days ago, and even more excited for tea, scones, and sundaes. Such a cute seating area with a great mood for kids or an elegant time.
Great fun- loved the G&T float and Coronation Chicken. Best to book beforehand as it can be manic.
A fun way to celebrate a birthday! Enjoyable, delicious ice cream and friendly service.
This was suggested by my daughter for a Ladies get together. It was a brilliant choice. Everything was exemplary the surrounding of Fortnum & Mason, the service was excellent as was the food. Delicious.
I would definitely recommend The Parlour to anyone in the area who wants a break from shopping Ora catch up with friends. I will definitely go again.
Everything was perfect. Fantastic food and service. The attention to detail and value for money is great. Well worth the cost and time
We came for a birthday celebration for our 12 year old daughter. Quiet simply superb, staff first class in every way.
As you would expect lovely service very welcoming and food excellent amlways worth a visit on a London outing thank you
Lovely time there staff very good at catering for our needs very organised and polite.
So much food very nicely presented too.
Thank you for your hospitality
A lovely experience having brunch at F&Ms. The service was a little slow initially but we were soon served and the food was not a disappointment. The Highland scramble was delicious and very generous followed by a Knickerbocker-glory with to share was outstanding. Utter indulgence but worth totally worth it.
Poor service, sat down at 11.45 and our waitress arrived at 12.10. the table next to us had their order taken, drinks bought over , food order taken and had started their meal before anyone even a knowledged us. We have visited twice before and never had this. No one came to clear our table or offer us the bill either ,I had to get up after waiting another 15 minutes and find the waitress. Honestly extremely poor service. Ice cream was nice as ever
I was a little disappointed. I was expecting the atmosphere to be a bit more up market. The tables and chairs looked cheap and were not very comfortable. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The food was OK. Nothing special, I have eaten better scones etc in a country food emporium. It was not the special occasion I was hoping for.
Service was outstanding, our waiter was so polite and helpful , nothing was too much trouble for him. Lovely bright parlour and divine ice cream and cakes. All the other food looked lovely too.
Lovely experience , lovely treat for our little niece while we were in London
Will definitely be visiting it again, highly recommend.
The Parlour was nice but not really what I expected of F&M. It was very casual which is fine but the table was a little like a school canteen. We waited ages to be asked what we would like to drink.
I’m not sure why I had to detail why we were there as it made no difference to any aspect of the booking. The icecream was nice, I’d recommend it as a child friendly place but I’m not sure I’d visit again.
We took our daughter here for her 2nd birthday and WHAT A TREAT! Such a sweetly and fun decorated place. They give little ones adorable little ice cream cones and sweets. I ordered her 1 scoop of ice cream with sprinkles and they brought out a candle, it was adorable. Yes, its a little pricey for ice cream, but it is a treat. The service and ambiance are lovely!
Beautiful meal - great service and friendly staff who made every effort to make our visit memorable.
Great service, and usual nice atmosphere. However, this time the noise from the display near the lifts was very intrusive. Further to this the ice cream was slightly disappointing too, rose ripple was tasteless and the coupe seemed ridiculously childish to be served to adults.
Lovely lunch, my gin and tonic float was amazing! Thank you fortnums :)
We love The Parlour, whenever we travel to London we always try and pop in whether it’s for tea and scones or an ice cream. Staff are always so accommodating and friendly. Enjoyed the knickerbocker glory this time, it was delicious. We look forward to another visit next time we’re in London.
I enjoy visiting Fortnum’s for the ambience in the store but also to attend exhibitions at the RA. Having a light meal in The Parlour adds to the occasion.
It's very nice and the ice cream sundae was lovely. But I did tell them when I booked that I was booking for breakfast. This was a Sunday and when I arrived I found out that they do not serve breakfast on Sundays. This rather ruined the day's plan.
It would have been better if they had told me when I booked.
Good cafe food and a fun place to grab a bite to eat if you're shopping in Fortnum & Mason.
Friendly staff, we took our son for his birthday celebration. The staff really spoilt him
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Fortnum & Mason The Parlour. Service was excellent. Food delicious.
The food is delicious and it is great for children as they can create bespoke icecreams. ThIs was our second visit and it was even better than the first time round.
Outstanding food and service as usual. Would definitely return for another meal.
