Set in one of London’s most stylish hotels, The Soho Hotel, REFUEL Restaurant is in the heart of the West End just moments away from the city’s popular theatres and nightlife. Designed by owner Kit Kemp, REFUELS’s interior is a vibrant mix of colour and contemporary art, including a mural painted by London-born artist Alexander Hollweg, which runs along the entire length of the oak and pewter bar. REFUEL is best known for its British menu with an emphasis on fresh and seasonal produce. Expect to find dishes such as confit pork belly, miso glaze with Swiss chard and poached cod, clam and parsley sauce. It’s very nice place to meet friends you haven’t seen for a long time as the atmosphere allows you to talk! Food was delicious, nice desert and cocktail 🍸 was great too! Would like to come back for aperitivo!

The afternoon tea had a variety of savoury and sweet treats with good quality ingredients, a good assortment of pastries. We enjoyed the Earl Greay leaf tea, it tasted very good. The staff were professional and helpful. We liked the quiet environment and cosy seating area which was perfect for a special occasion.

The restaurant is highly recommended, the food was good and the service attentive without being overpowering. The ambiance at lunch was relaxed and very nice with the ability to get a drink at the bar prior to dining. It was reasonably busy so I would always recommend to get the time you desire.

Lovely restaurant with a great vibe and atmosphere. We had afternoon tea, which was lovely, we couldn’t fault it at all. The staff were so friendly and helpful and didn’t rush us from leaving our table. Would definitely go back as the bar and cocktails looked fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!.

This is a favourite restaurant of mine. Unfortunately, on this occasion a guest ordered a main course without the bacon garnish. It came with bacon, not ideal when the diner is Jewish. The dining experience was good in all other respects.

This was a delicious first meal in London. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant are very chic and unique. The waitstaff was incredibly kind helpful. The food was delicious! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dinner spot!

I have been to the place many times and this time I have been very disappointed by the lady that served us. I had a couple of Muslim people and they wanted to have one water and the lady got almost angry so she kept saying no wine, no cocktails making me feel very embarrassed. I hope that you can train the staff to diversity. Thanks

I enjoyed my afternoon tea in a quiet, bright environment. The staff was really helpful, always present but not interfering or making pressure. They surprised me with a birthday pastry which I didn't expect. I really loved being surrounded by design furniture and interesting teaware. Flawless care of details. The only thing I didn't appreciate fully, it was the texture of my scones. Since it was my first time there I couldn't compare but I had so many afternoon teas that I know what I like and what other locations offer. They were very biscuity, as if they have been reheated and for long. Their taste was ok but I couldn't spread properly the jam and the clotted cream. Apart those, the quality of food were terrific!
