Lovely authentic Italian food, with a relaxed, cosy atmosphere. Great value for money too.
Hospitality v good thanks good value friendly staff great atmosphere
Such an amazing family feel. With great food at amazing prices.
Old fashioned restaurant, but service, food and wine choice excellent. Good portions cooked beautifully. Lovely starters and deserts. But needs the outside smartening up . Im sure lot of people miss ìt when coming into Harrow . A real gem .
Waiter said he would bring bruschetta on the house. Did not bring it. Did not inform us of specials or menu of the day.
Staff seemed more interested in family or friends visiting. Waiter not attentive,
We have visited this restaurant often and was really disappointed this time round.
Exceptional service and wonderful food cooked by chef Marco. There was a very friendly family atmosphere and a lot of regulars who clearly enjoy coming back. This is a hidden gem. The service is the best bit, highly entertaining, you will be very well looked after. It's not cheap but it's definitely worth it.
Brilliant local find with very tasty food. Quiet and very attentive owner manager. Would come again for a quiet casual
Best restaurant in Harrow by some distance - a real gem in. Highly recommend the food and the service, and the overall experience. We will be back soon!
The service and food were good. I think it's a little bit overpriced for what you get.
Great little Italian! Popped in for an evening meal and had a lovely evening.
Great restaurant. Very clean and cosy with such a great service. Highly recommended. Best touch of the evening is the food. So good and definitely value for money.
Average in every way (food, ambience, service). Nothing special.
Sorrentina has been a Harrow institution for at least 35/40 years. Having been there several times, it never fails to impress. The food is fantastic. the service is excellent, and it is reasonably priced. Michael is friendly and always delivers with the excellent consistency of his menu. Having tried 3 home made deserts, he gave a us one more on the house, and they were all delicious. See you again soon !
I found that the service was very good and the inter action with the staff first rate. I would definitely dine there again.
Lovely staff. Very helpful and polite. Had mushrooms in garlic sauce for starters, it was delicious! Lasagne for mains, which was good. Would go again for sure.
Enjoyed a lovely dinner last night. The service was good and the food was good.
Fantastic, superb traditional trattoria.
Amazing food, a wonderfully authentic Italian restaurant. We booked as was staying in the area for a special occasion and didn't disappoint at all. Would really recommend a visit, a real gem with lovely friendly staff.
Amazing service with delicious food - reminded me of being on holiday in Italy! Will definitely be hoping back for an authentic Italian meal.. great choice of vegetarian meals. Service was lovely and personal.
A touch of Italy in its decor, menu and service. The food was very good and the house wine excellent value. The vegetables included in the main course price were plentiful, varied and perfectly cooked. The desserts were also very good. We will be returning soon.
Authentic Italian experience! Went here for a quiet meal for two one Thursday and was not disappointed - the restaurant is quite small and cosy, and run by a very welcoming Italian family and the decor gives it a real sense of a traditional Italian restaurant.
The food was certainly Italian and all cooked really well, I had the fillet of steak medallions while my partner had veal, both of which were excellent; the wine list was good and not needlessly extensive as some places. The service was friendly and we were made to feel welcome through complimentary limoncello at the end which was a nice touch.
Considering the location this place is a real find out in Zone 5 and well worth the trip - highly recommended!
Service was great and staff friendly but expensive for what you get
Great service and delicious food!
Took a friend here for his 85th birthday. Not our first visit, as it is close to him, and not our last either. Two of us had Saltimbocca all Romana - seemed very authentic to me, and very tasty. The other guest had Spaghetti ai Frutti de Mare. On the menu this comes with a tomato and chilli sauce, but this restaurant is always happy to tailor a dish to your requirements so they changed this to a light wine and cream sauce. To finish, as always, the very individual profiteroles were irrestible!
Lovely food and lovely ambience. Excellent customer service. Even thought I had my younger daughter walking around the restaurant, they didn't seem to mind and were smiling and friendly. Definitely recommend. A bit pricey compared to some other authentic Italian restaurants but good nonetheless
Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Lovely food. Lovely staff.
Lovely restaurant - VERY Italian. Very good food, excellent service. This was the 3rd. time in 2 months I had visited Sorrentina and I will certainly be going again.
Very friendly restaurant owners, big viriaty of menu, food is very tasty.
Nice atmosphere, would recommend to everyone.
Everything.. Starting with ambience to service and food..
Really lovely food and ambience.
Will definitely return.
A local, friendly, family style restaurant. The staff are great fun and the service is very good and very efficient. The tables are a bit close together for an intimate conversation. Unfortunately there was a power cut as we were finishing so we ended up leaving earlier than intended.
Once again, a most enjoyable meal at La Sorrentina. A friendly welcome, and attentive service in the old professional style. We all ate from the set menu, and the tomatao and mozarella salad was both refreshing and ample. Venetian Style Calves Liver was again ordered by all of us. Two of us had eaten this before here, and we both thought it was slightly different this time - it seemed a bit "hot", and we wondered if chilli had been added ? If so, I feel this is a mistake; or at least should have been mentioned.
The finale was the profiteroles. These are very individual ! At first glance one thinks "Oh - only two?". But they are both very good and very rich. Two is enough !
We all look forward to our next visit.
Great service and staff. Booked as a last minute choice but will be returning very soon
Another visit to this delightful restaurant. Home-made food prepared and presented with care. The family atmosphere results from the fact that Mama and Papa run front of house, chat if you wish to chat, explain about the dishes and are genuinely interested in ensuring that you enjoy their food and the ambience. The beef stroganoff (I know - it's not Italian but who cares) is wonderful with melt-in-the-mouth beef. The tiramisu is to die for. We shall keep coming back.
Excellent local restaurant with a huge menu and high quality food.
Food tastes amazing and staff are so friendly and kind. We were celebrating a birthday and received some freebies as well.
Had a lovely meal here with excellent quality food and a very patient waiter! The menu is simple, but it's clear that they use fresh, high quality ingredients. Everything from the starters to the dessert were absolutely delicious - highly recommend
Really lovely meal with very friendly and efficient sraff. Nice atmosphere too
Excellent customer service, very polite and friendly staff. Good value for money. Will return
This is a reliable, family run, Italian restaurant. This is on the opposite side of London to my home territory, and it was my first meal here; however I would certainly return if in this area. All three of us chose classic Italian dishes - two of us eating, from the set menu, fegato alla veneziana, followed by profiteroles or cassata siciliana, and the third choosing saltimbocca alla veneziana ffrom the main menu. All were suitably authentic. The selection of sliced breads at the start of the meal were very fresh, and included a caraway seed bread which is something not often offered. Service was efficient and friendly - two words which sum up Sorrentina very well.
