Lidia's features authentic, regional Italian cuisine. Every item at the restaurant is house-made entirely from scratch with the best ingredients available. Breads and desserts are baked in-house daily and each salad and entree is prepared fresh.

Every day Lidia's offers a sampling of seasonal, daily-made pastas. We also feature many seafood, chicken, pork, and beef options. We are happy to accommodate your dietary needs including gluten-free items.

Lidia's is located in the historic Freighthouse-- a beautiful 19th century building. The stunning decor includes three hand-blown chandeliers, a three-story slate fireplace, and cozy, New York style seating.

Restaurant was extremely noisy. Food was not as good as usual. I had to put in the reservation that we were celebrating a 16th birthday and I wasn’t even mentioned. Our server was very friendly and attentive yet she was over sat.

Fun evening. We got an early reservation and the food and service were very good. The ambiance is great. I love the hand blown glass chandeliers and the wine display at the west end. One of our favorite go to places that rarely disappoints.

We were visiting Kansas City from out of town attending a convention. We made reservations and were promptly greeted upon arrival! Once seated we were greeted by our server that explained the specials and helped us decide on a bottle of wine ! Our dinner was the Pasta Tasting Trio - for $39 - we received a Caesar Salad - Samples of 3 different pastas and a dessert of our choice - the Tiramisu was delish! A great dinner with friends!

Lidia's is an outstanding Italian restaurant! From the bread to the dessert, everything was amazing. Plus, it was our anniversary and the server went out of our way to make it special. One of our favorites!

The food and the ambience at Lidias were outstanding, as they always are. The highlight of our evening, however, was our fabulous server, Matthew Edwards. He was the best in every way: helpful, respectful, clever, sassy and endearing. Don’t let him get away!

We had a reservation at 6:15. We were seated immediately. Sever came over right away and explained everything. We ordered and our food came by 6:25! We were in and out in under 30 minutes. It was great! We don’t like to linger at dinner.

I love Lidia's and when I'm in Pittsburgh or KC I come here as I'm a pastaholic! Fresh pasta daily with interesting new sauces and/or fillings. LOVE IT. Can't beat getting fresh homemade pasta at a low cost ..... and as much as you can eat!
