    A very good starter (anchovies), excellent cocktails and a pretty good steak should mean a better starred review but if you are going to charge £39 for that steak and then slightly ungenerously ask for £4 for a sauce & £6.5 for fries, I expect better service for a £50 main…. it was personable & polite but we waited an hour for our main and our empty plates were left for 15 mins until we asked them to be cleared - at almost £200 for 2 with just one glass of wine & no dessert i expect more….it’s a good vibe & good food but needs to sharpen up its act

    We visited as a group of four. Three of the meals were excellent—well-prepared and full of flavour. Unfortunately, one dish was undercooked and had to be sent back. Disappointingly, when it returned, it was still undercooked, which let the experience down a bit. The service was generally good but not outstanding. At one point, we had to pour our own wine from the wine bucket. It’s not a major issue, but at this level, we expected a little more attention to detail. Overall, a mostly enjoyable meal with some room for improvement, particularly in consistency and service.

    Not been for a while but we had a great evening. Good was excellent as was the service. Lucky to get a window table - which is fabulous in the dark as you have a great view of London at night. Would recommend.

    Great ambience & view of the river & night lights of London. Would benefit from increased waiting staff at peak times e.g. pre theatre dinner, but waiter’s were very thoughtful & responsive to requests. Food was overall good & the pasta dishes were popular with my guests. It is a good value & a convenient venue for dining after a performance at the Royal Festival Hall. We would certainly dine at Skylon again.

    We spent a very lovely evening, in a very great ambience, eating eccellent food. We appreciated a lot the very kind service, the waiters have been very nice and gentle. We will come back!
