This was, quite simply, one of my top dining experiences. The decor was beautiful, the service superb, and the food, truly spectacular. The mixture of tastes, not only among courses (we had the tasting menu) but also within each particular course, was outstanding. It's not inexpensive, but it is well worth the cost. We will be back!!!!

Have eaten here many times over the years. Unfailingly excellent service and food presentation and quality.
Menu is more limited than past years but quality was very much there. Recommend this restaurant highly!

Our most expensive and most delicious meal in London. The Doechester is very fancy and the restaurant and also very well appointed. We went for my 50th birthday and really had a wonderful time. The food was amazing!! Service fantastic and overall wonderful. The wait staff has very heavy accents. Lots of good wine too

We came to Alain Ducasse for most of our celebrations however this recent one truly disappointed us. Having dined in this restaurant since 16 years ago and truly enjoyed the unique service, food quality and ambience, I doubt we would come back again.
First of all, 3 major Services which would not anticipate at any Michelin starred restaurant, let alone is 3* here 1) the bread served cold, with only 3 limited options. We have asked for refill but need to remind the waiter to twice to bring it over 2) one of the cutlery ( knife) was dirty, and have food reside on it, it’s honestly disgusting. The staff did not pay attention to at all and did not apologize but only brining it a new one when asked for it. 3) my partner had a strict dietary requirement however when the waiter explaining the butter, non-alcoholic pastry - he has them swapped, again appalling.
Coming to the food quality: the only dish we enjoyed was hand-diver scallop. Acknowledged its seasonal tasting menu however some of the dishes could have done better like previous lobster and chicken. The farmhouse veal fillet is horrible and tasteless, despite smoked ricotta and green peas surrounding. Finally, the assortment of French cheeses, it’s no longer a cheese trolley, they provided 3 choices which it’s so-so option.
Overall, the ambience remains elegance and romantic however I would not recommend celebrating any occasions here, the staff seems very young and limited experience, just ignored it and treat you like normal customers. It’s no longer as special like as before I would say. Also, don’t expect much from this restaurant in terms of food quality as there’re much better French restaurants ( without starred) that have better service and taste than them - with very affordable price ( 1/7 of overall price)

The restaurant ambience and service was amazing. The wines were very good. We selected the Discovery wine pairing menu, to go with our 7 course degustation menu. Regarding the food; I expected a much better experience. Three out of the seven courses were excellent, the rest were very flat.

Having dinner here is like having dinner like a king! A true king… you have top service, top waiters, and top metre.
It’s very small, soo it’s perfect to make it very personal.
Ok now on the food….
I had mostly vegetables… my friends had fish and meat.
The food is def to die for, you have to make sure you haven’t eaten in a while… even though it takes 3-4 hours (7 courses) it’s very well balanced, it’s so out of this world.
But you will get full very fast.
My fav was the lamb and desserts
Just be prepared to pay 285 per person, and without counting caviar or truffles, so if u don’t wanna pay extra ask what’s included.
And sit back and enjoy this moment

Absolutely loved the food, perfection is an understatement. The offer to meet the chef, was an honour.
However, was just blown away at the price of the champagne, and worse, served in a cheap glass.
For two glasses of champagne, I could have bought the whole bottle.
The sommelier’s accent was extremely difficult to understand, and I felt it was impolite to ask him to repeat himself, so I chose the Champagne, that was the only one I understood!
When I received the bill, the only thing that spoiled the evening, was the outrageous cost of the drink,( champagne) otherwise, everything was superb.

Great food and great service from an iconic restaurant. Diverse tastes not always thrilling but overall experience close to perfect. Lighting and ambience can be improved.
