   Quite possibly the loudest restaurant in London at 9pm on a Friday evening. You simply cannot converse with your fellow diners. I was called ahead to say dress code on a Friday was elegant chic. The place was full of guys in tracksuits. The food was ok but certainly not memorable.

   Service slow. Steak unevenly prepared. Expensive. And loud. A bad combination and overall big disappointment. Hotel is reaching out to restaurant management since hotel recommend this restaurant. Save your money and eat in another part of town.

   Oh the food was really bad, I had the steak and it was salty & flavourless. The waiter bless him tried to get another steak cooked but it was just as bad unfortunately

   Prior to attending, we were informed by phone of strict smart casual dress code and that there was a minimum spend of £60 per head. Both of these things felt quite arrogant. On arrival, we were greeted with an atmosphere more akin to a cross between a nightclub and love island, with the music far too loud and the dress code we were informed about clearly not enforced. (People were in shorts and t shirts). The food was good, but the meal was very overpriced and the experience did not offer value for money. If you’re going to be arrogant, at least match it with end product.

   Allows riff-raff in who smelt like B.O. and were loud and obnoxious. Ruined our evening. Steak was tough and chewy, other dishes were tasty. Had a main and dessert which was over £80, didn't think it was good value for money.

    Beautiful venue, lovely food and friendly staff. We had the 3 course set menu designed for pre shows, everything was perfect, can’t say a bad word. Bonus is location, only a couple minutes walk away from most theatres.

    This is our second visit to STK and it was as good as expected. The service was superb and to top it off, the staff actually remembered us from a visit from 9 months previous. Very friendly, helpful and attentive without being over the top. The meal itself was excellent and right up there with the best steakhouses in the US and I’ve sampled many over the years, including some rated in the top 10 in the US. I had the rib-eye and my partner the filet - cooked exactly as requested and the taste was out of this world. Rib-eye can be a bit hit and miss depending on the quality of the meat, but this was tender and not chewy or gristly at all. Of course, the filet is never going to have that problem! Extensive wine list with selection to suit any budget. I can thoroughly recommend STK to anyone who is looking for a top quality steakhouse and a special occasion. And we’ll be definitely be visiting again.

    Despite arriving for a pre theatre dinner at 5.30 it took almost an hour for the one course that we ordered to arrive which was a shame as we didn't have time for a second course.

    Stunning. The decor, service, food, ambience, and overall experience were faultless. We loved the fact that the background music was unobtrusive while also being great choices of songs that fitted perfectly with the whole vibe. Food was fantastic, and we scoffed everything on our plates. We were even given free skinny fries because the waiter realised my husband wasn't eating his chunky chips. We visit London every year and are delighted to have found this gem, which will now be added to our list of 'must visit' restaurants.

    When we first walked in being people a bit older than average we were a bit worried.     Booked this restaurant as the venue appeared to be up market, however was very disappointed on arrival. The look of the venue is lovely but food was very mediocre. Baby gem salad described on menu did not mention anchovies but came with rhem hidden at the bottom. Steak had more fat on it than steak and staff, although nice enough , were kneeling on chairs speaking to customers. It's a nice place but if I'd known tje above I would have chosen somewhere else. Think it was slightly over priced for the quality of food.

    There was an issue with our food and we waited over an hour for a sandwich. That being said, accidents happen and the service was otherwise good and the food nice when it did finally arrive, even if we did only manage to rush through half of it in order to make our next booking. The restaurant gave us 50% off of our bill due to the mistake which was really appreciated. We wouldn’t be put off from returning, it was just a bit of an unfortunate first visit.

    The food was subpar. Portions were very small considering the price. The drinks were good, but can’t go wrong with a bit of vodka and strawberry. I ordered the lobster and mash potatoes. It was served separately so had to put them on one plate myself. The service felt so rushed and lacked enthusiasm. After two picks of the lobster it was finished, barely any meat on the lobster at all, was mainly shell. I then ordered the lamb, it was okay to taste but again nothing extravagant and was also done after a couple of bites. Not what I was expecting at all, it being my first time at the restaurant. The only good thing was the location, as pictures came out good. Aside from that, I will not be in a rush to visit any time soon.
