Serving size a little small given the price (with one dish we ordered; a special that night) but these days with everything costing more, including groceries, I guess that's to be expected. Otherwise fantastic and would highly recommend!

Lovely setting, curated decor. Service was excellent. Great menu with nice selection. Wonderful selection of wines and craft cocktails. The food was excellent—all ingredients were fresh and very tasty. Highly recommend.

Excellent and innovative food. The meatballs are some of the best ever and. other apps were excellent. Great assortment of mains too. Matt was our server and he was informative and very attentive without being overbearing. The front room can be very noisy if the large table is full. We prefer the back room with no large tables.

We sat in the back room. It was nice but a little bit too dark. Food- eggplant parm excellent, pork chop- not sure why they cut it into small pieces. Vegan pasta- good but a bit salty and served warm not hot. Ravioli good. Salads on the larger side and tasty. Bread cold and not great. Service a bit slow. Glad we tried Roma. Saw it on instagram.

second time here and I had forgotten I had highly rated this restaurant the last time- well I quickly remembered why- everything impeccable- the fried brussel sprouts were uniquely garnished , the lemon pesto gemelli was amazing, the eggplant parmigiana with a side of tagliatelle was perfect. Service was excellent with Deven. No offense to anybody, but I find most Italian food in Maine to be substandard. Im Italian and , to me, this is the best italian food in Maine and having spent 2 weeks in Italy this year and 2 weeks last year I don’t hesitate to say that the food here might beat almost every experience there. Since the chef is from Rome, I guess i shouldn’t be surprised. Looking forward to going back

We were very disappointed with our experience at the Roma. Why? - We were seated at a scratched up, sticky-feeling table. - The server didn’t show up for a good ten minutes and then acted like he was doing us a big favor just to take our drink order. - Two people ordered the Bone-In Pork chop and specifically requested that it be “pink in the middle.” What they got were overcooked, sliced pork chops with no bones. - Another ordered the Carbonara. The dish had a watery cheese sauce with about 10 bacon bits. The Bolognese had very little meat and the sauce tasted like ketchup. - When our server finally reappeared to ask us how everything was, we told him about the pork chops. He asked us what he could do but offered no apology and no offer to compensate us in any way. We will not return.

Delicious and generous eggplant parmigiana; the fried Brussels sprouts were very good but too many for one person…get it to share! Excellent Caesar salad and tagliatelle bolognese., also. Love having this place in our neighborhood😉
