We love this steakhouse! Beautiful ambience! The service is consistently amazing! Good is fantastic! We spend holidays here and bring our out of town visitors! Our server was terrific! So friendly! I wish I could remember her name!

49th wedding anniversary. High school sweethearts Lewis and Clark 1973.! absolutely wonderful all the meat was perfect. The scallops presented exquisitely were so tender. You could cut it with a feather. Potatoes are kind of salty, but no big deal. Video was wonderful very attentive. Love the atmosphere and it’s local right downtown. Iconic.

Steaks were tough, undercooked, and cold. My steak was so cold when it first came out it didn’t even melt the butter that was placed on it. The second steak they brought me was at least warm enough to melt the butter but was just warm enough in the center to not be blue rare when I ordered medium rare. The mashed potatoes were cold. The mushrooms were cold and unseasoned. The one bright spot was the Mac and cheese. We were celebrating so my brother and I ordered shots of DJ 1942 neat. The bartender mistakenly poured them over ice. Instead of just pouring us 2 new neat shots he strained the ice and poured them into new glasses. The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.

Spencer’s Steakhouse in Spokane is easily one of the best dining experiences in the city. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels upscale without being pretentious — warm lighting, comfortable seating, and a staff that treats you like a valued guest rather than just another table. The pork chops are exceptional. Perfectly seasoned, cooked exactly to temperature, and incredibly tender. You can tell they use high‑quality cuts of meat and take pride in their craft. The sides are just as impressive — especially the loaded hashbrowns and the berry salad, which are full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Service is consistently outstanding. Our server was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. It’s rare to find a place where the food, service, and ambiance all hit the mark, but Spencer’s delivers every time. Highly recommend for date nights, celebrations, or anyone who simply wants a truly great steakhouse experience in Spokane.
