The food was great and the service was excellent. I wear hearing aids and I liked that the background sound level was low enough we could talk and visit with friends from Tennessee we had not seen in over ten years.

Ella's looks very nice and we had good service. The bread and the Jonny cakes app were very good. However, all three mains were not. The salmon and the short ribs were so salty that my wife and son could not eat their meals. I had the pork chop that tasted good but the quality of the meat was poor. Very tough. My wife mentioned to the waitress that her meal was very salty. She replied that another customer just said the same thing and she was not sure what was going on in the kitchen that night. Ella's is a pass for us going forward.

Ella’s is one of our favorite places for lunch in Fayetteville! It’s beautiful setting, adjacent to the University of Arkansas where a nice walk onto the campus is a must after lunch tradition for us!

Ambiance/setting was fantastic in repurposed 100 year old dormitory. Enjoyed wandering around. Drinks were excellent as was the short rib. My wife said the pork was not bad. Attentive service.

We chose to have breakfast at Ella’s. Everything was delicious including the coffee. Best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had at a restaurant!

The place is lovely, the service was wonderful. The food was not good. A couple of the dishes were okay.,.much of the food was really less than okay. The drinks were okay. I had a vodka tonic and the tonic was flat. The martini’s were not cold ..just okay. This beautiful dining spot with great service needs to rethink the menu and improve food quality. The desserts were awful. We tried two. One was very dry and the other had a crust which was almost inedible. I will write my review later. And several of the entrees were not good..short ribs were awful, my guess is these may have been par boiled. The bun on the burger was dry.. probably refrigerated or frozen and reheated. I hate this because I have eaten here twice before and had delicious soup and salad and once a simple but good pasta dish.

A bit disappointed on Mother’s Day. 20% gratuity included in our 5 person meal and the server who dropped the check off didn’t mention that. Tipped an additional 20% as a result. Glad our server (who wasn’t the one dropping the check) could benefit from that, but disappointed in the lack of transparency.
