    Thank you for making my partner's birthday memorable. Thank you for the warm welcome and excellent food service. Steak and side disshes are all awesome. Staffs are friendly and very accomodating. Keep up the good work. In Gods willl, we will come back when we visit London again.

    Very disappointing experience. Theatre menu was booked for 5.45pm, however food was so slow to come out, we had to rush our main course and hurry out, without getting a dessert. The main took nearly an hour to come out. They then charged us as if we did have 3 courses, even after trying to explain we didn't have time for the dessert. Eventually, they took the extras off the bill. Furthermore, the steak was very average and they forgot to bring out the sauce.

    Food was exceptionally good. Service was class. The most importantly they attended to all my kids needs. Great F&amp;B team and the energy was brilliant. It is my nth visit but always exceptional service by the team. I am Titanium member with Marriott and Gill rays never fails to surprise me in a good way :)

    Nice food, fantastic service. Restaurant could do with a good clean, tables a little shabby and windows very dirty. For the price you pay, you should get a nice clean place to eat. A little tired I'd say.

    Food was just amazing as always. We have to eat at Gillrays ever time we visit London never disappoints. The service is always fantastic nothing too much trouble for them. Imre our waiter last night treated us like royalty, he is a great guy. Will see you again first week in August.

    The "view" from this restaurant is WAY over-hyped in their advertising. It's not nearly as good as they say - not to mention the windows were filthy and we could hardly see outside at all. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the menu is very limited and the steaks were average.

    Really tasty steak and we found the staff friendly and helpful even charging my phone for me. Very enjoyable meal and a place I’d return too. Not so keen on the bar but then again we came for the food and that’s personal choice. Attentive manager who clearly aimed to please.

    A gem hidden in a beautiful historic building. The food was excellent and the waiter, Miss Iulia/Sofia was excellent in customer service. She advised on the food choices and wine. Try the trout fish and the fish&chips. The noise was loud and I This is something I didn’t enjoy.

    Service was great - our waitresses were very accommodating. My boyfriend loved him meal, he got the rump steak with triple cooked chips. My meal was the chicken and salt and vinegar chips. It was ok. Chicken was a bit dry but I understand that’s how roast chicken can be so would be nice if a sauce or gravy was served with it. Wasn’t too keen on the vinegar powder on the chips. Only got those as they ran out of sweet potatoes. Overall the experience was lovely! My boyfriend really enjoyed himself which was the main thing as it was his birthday (which he go a lovely little surprise for with our waitress serenading him with their angelic voices)

    Wonderful location with great views of the river and the Houses of Parliament. Lovely décor inside and comfortable seating. We were with some friends from overseas and wanted them to have a special experience in a location where we could have good conversation. Felicia our waitress was absolutely superb - friendly, helpful and really made the experience 10/10. She is a real gem. Food was good, excellent quality and plenty of variety.

    For a hotel of this branding and star rating I expect MUCH better coffee. Service is ok. Food is ok. Expensive for the experience. Certainly not good enough for me to recommend or return. You can do better elsewhere IMO

    This was our second visit to Gillray’s. We were seated promptly with a lovely view of the river and we had prompt service for drinks and meal order. Everything came out as it should have. Service dipped after that. Our dirty dishes were taken away and we had to flag our server down after about 20 minutes to ask for a dessert menu. We had to flag him again to get our order in. We asked if it came with ice cream (the brownie) and he immediately replied yes. Low and behold, no ice cream came out and we let the person who dropped it off know that we would like 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream. This came out promptly in a small ramekin. 1 VERY SMALL scoop of ice cream. This was fine as we only needed a little but we were very surprised to have been charged £4 for it!! We had tickets to a show and I couldn’t take the time to complain about this at the time but, sadly, the last bit of our experience during the meal really let your restaurant down. We expected a little more attentiveness considering the caliber of restaurant we were dining at.

    Lovely place very relaxed and great surroundings, food was very nice and ok priced, drinks on the pricy side. Sadly two of our steaks were not cooked as requested and had to be returned to be cooked more which meant by the time we got them back out sides were cold and our fellow diners had nearly finished their meals. Other than that would recommend.

    We were expecting an excellent steak house. The service was slow even though it was more than half empty. The starts were ok, but then the steak was over cooked which for a supposed Steak house was really poor, the quality of the meat was poor too. There was no garnish, just a pile of lukewarm chips. The senior member of staff told me to just eat my chips whilst they recooked the steak which is hardly the sort of service you expect. Totally plays on its location. Going to a local pub for a meal would have been far better quality and service, it was below average and for the price really not acceptable.
