Way too loud for a Sunday morning brunch. We asked hostess to have DJ turn it down, but he didn’t. Didn’t expect to go to a night club for brunch before a show.

This review is actually for the Rooftop Main level but includes issues of that Rooftop. My wife and I booked reservations to the Rooftop though Open Table. But a few days prior to our reservations we were notified that the Rooftop was closed due to maintenance but they would honor our reservations on the main level restaurant. We were not able to find reservations to another restaurant at the time we needed so to keep our reservation and dine on the main level. When we arrived the main level was packed (due to others I’m assuming having to move from rooftop to the main level area) creating a very louse environment. Space seemed to have an echo which made it seem even louder. Food was ok but menu was not makes with any Gluten free options as my wife has a gluten sensitivity. Asked the server for his opinion and he didn’t seem To have a clue so just had to go with an option that would most likely be gf. I used the bathroom and they were out of paper towels and did not have blow driers. We ate our food and got out of there as quick as possible. Would try the rooftop area if available but would not go back to the main level restaurant again. Also feel That either management or Open Table needs to remove the option of the Rooftop is it’s truly not available to dine in due to maintenance. Feel like we got the bait and switch pulled on us. I saw there were others reviews on Open Table that happened weeks before that state the same issue. If the Rooftop is not open should not be able To make reservations and they should list on their website. Overall not a good experience with this restaurant.

The restaurant was bought out and the new owners took our reservation with no communication and the new menu is gross sports bar food and it is no longer called Union despite the signage. Terrible experience.

Unfortunately not a great experience. First the rooftop we booked was closed and we weren’t notified until a few hours before our reservation. Then sadly service was under par. My drink had a dead fly in it and I didn’t even get an apology from the wait staff just an eye roll and “I’ll get you another one”. Then my meal was made incorrectly to top it all off and due to an allergy had to be remade by the time mine arrived my husband was completely finnished eating. Overall disappointing experience :(

The service was great. Our waters were regularly topped off. The server was friendly and prompt. We didn’t wait very long for our food. And both entrees were great quality. The ambience was really warm!

I was on vacation. I want a good meal and I am willing to pay for it. Very disappointed. I wish people would be honest here and all sites about the quality of food. . Some visitors rely on it.

For a place called Union Rooftop, it would be great if they told people the rooftop was closed for maintenance and repairs before they booked. It really put a damper on our night out. At least the food was good and service was fine as well.

We made a reservation for the rooftop, but it was closed for renovation. This was not communicated until we got to the restaurant. I was disappointed, we sat inside. Our server was amazing and the food was great!

Unfortunately the rooftop was under renovation and closed. Our server was adorable and very good. My pear martini from their specialty drink menu was excellent, however my husband’s old fashioned was watered down by too much ice. I had the crispy ahi tuna starter that was so delicious and better than any place else I’ve had ahi tuna. Loved it on the crispy wonton with just the right amount of sauce.

Reservation worked great and table was ready on time. Music was very loud for brunch (nightclub level) so tables trying to have a conversation talked louder. Prices were reasonable for the menu but meat was undercooked (steak medallions requested medium rare, dark red and translucent inside) with salt poured on so it was gritty. Eggs were cooked a perfect over-easy, toast was fresh, and fruit was good. Benedicts and other menu options may be a better choice. Long wait for check--felt longer because music was too loud to have a conversation without shouting.
