   Delicious! And beautiful, from the food to the atmosphere and lighting. The staff was very friendly. Food was reasonably priced for how amazing and thoughtful it was. We are from out of town and I’m SO glad that we came here.

   We enjoyed the cocktails. The servers who brought the food were lovely. The bartender unfortunately was not personable in the least. We love to sit at the bar but not this one. We liked the food but the rhubarb and berry salad was extremely tart. We will try it again to make sure this was a fluke evening.

   We had a wonderful time at Rhubarb. We sat outside where the street noice was very intrusive but inside seemed to be very lovely. Food was excellent and the service was impeccable.

   Extremely pleased with our experience from the personable waitress Carri to the delicious entrees. The goat cheese burrata is a must but ask for an extra slice of the delicious locally grown tomato. We sat outside on a lovely Asheville evening and found a dynamic but slightly noisy street scene. Had a very enjoyable time elevated by a fun and informative waitress Carri. Highly recommend when visiting Asheville.

   Honestly, extremely disappointing experience. Food was overpriced and underwhelming. Hush puppies and cornbread were flavorless and significantly over cooked. Burrata came with “toast” that wasn’t crisp and fell apart. Pork loin was fatty and rice undercooked. Sat on the patio and it was very loud and rowdy. Our server was great, everything else was not.

   Service and Drinks were great. Our starters were both dry and over cooked with a noticeable burnt after taste. We could not finish them. The trout entree had good flavors but was cold. I feel like this restaurant might be better than the experience we had due to its success and popularity over the years. I think our experience was just a miss.

    Restaurant space was fairly typical of current trends - fresh flowers on the table in handmade pottery bud vases was a nice touch. The restaurant smelled like woodsmoke from a BBQ pit. I loved that, but it might not be for everyone. The food was delicious. Fresh, local ingredients. The peach and tomato salad was refreshingly tart and sweet. My duck confit was tender and delicious. The grits that came with it were creamy with a nice flavor. The trout was good but the shaved vegetables that came with it were a little overwhelming. The rye and rhubarb dessert was outstanding. Wonderful flavors and textures.

    Amazing Asheville restaurant serving locally sourced Southern dishes. Melissa our server was helpful and informed with the menu & our interested. One of Asheville's true dining gems. Not to be missed.

    Outstanding establishment. The vegetarian plate was excellent - especially the eggplant with the miso sauce. The namesake-containing dessert was delicious! Highly recommended!

    As with all restaurants post COVID, they were definitely scrambling to provide service as best as they could, with the staff they had. Our waitress was running circles and doing her job and everyone else’s job. We appreciated her effort and great attitude. The food was amazing and it was the best meal we had in Asheville.

    The first two courses we ordered were excellent and then the last two were a tragedy. Lamb ribs were black and charcoaled, overcooked. The chicken of the woods mushrooms with fingerling potatoes were dry and over cooked, inedible. It was a shame seeing an indigenous food treated that way. We had high expectations, and became disappointed by the end of our experience. Our wait staff was absolutely wonderful, though. I think his name was Christopher.

    I thought it was odd that if our party was 10 minutes late we would’ve been charged $15 a piece, yet we waited free of charge for 10 minutes. The appetizers were phenomenal, although we did think the drink menu fell short. The entrées were a disappointment, poor value as well as little flavor. We’d come back for the amazing salads/cheeses/appetizers but we would skip the entrées.

    It was our second time at Rhubarb and just as fantastic as the first. The pork tenderloin was incredible. This is a special place where everything is mindfully sourced, carefully prepared and just an overall wonderful experience. We think it is the best in Asheville.

    Service was very very slow. It was busy and maybe short staffed. Not sure. The drink was yummy, trout was delicious, salad with rhubarb not great. Too tart. Cornbread was interesting but good. Definitely not what we thought as great, good, yes.

    I was disappointed, given the website expectation and the chef was past blackberry farm. we were celebrating our 25th anniversary which i included in the reservation. not a word from the waiter, who seemed slightly put out to be there. in his defense, tables were full but even with that i expect some interaction with the staff. we shared the pimento cheese hush puppies even though they were over brown by quite a bit. the burrata was amazing; best thing we had. my husbands spare ribs were over done. parts of it couldn't be eaten. i had the small plates lamb chops which were enought for an entree and they were quite good. in the end, IMO, food was not a "wow" factor and was overpriced. would not return

    Great service - 4-5 stars food is good but based on previous reviews, we were expecting bolder flavors and better quality 3-4 stars Host - 1 star. J We got the short ribs, which were very greasy and kind of blend. Tomato Salad, Hush Puppies, and Goat Cheese Cannelonis were very well made. We arrived an hour before closing time, and they put us on a waitlist with no guarantee and 7 people ahead of us. I went to an open table, and they had seats available within 10 minutes. I walked in and the host mentioned that there were still 6 people ahead of us. I mentioned that I booked a table via OpenTable, and the host was well then I can seat you. I'll recommend checking avails online before walking in or while on the waitlist. Otherwise, we weren't been able to sit for dinner.

    We had a fabulous meal at Rhubarb. We started off with cocktails, Hush puppies and the Gazpacho. All were delightful especially the soup. It exceeded our expectations. Next, we split the simple salad. For entrees, I got the Duck and my husband got the Chicken. Both were absolutely delicious. Our server, Carrie was just awesome. She anticipated our every need and was just a lovely and pleasant person. Overall our experience at Rhubarb was memorable and we will definitely go back!

    Best cornbread concoction I have ever had. However, the duck confit was very dry and the sauce had many seeds in it that were very hard and could not be chewed. Service was decent and the outdoor seating was great if you wanted to hear street music and performances (we did)

    Excellent food and service. My husband said the trout was outstanding. I loved the risotto. The chocolate and sorghum cream dessert was excellent as well. We sat outside on the patio and experienced some of the flair of Asheville.
