   Lovely venue, lovely food, great service. It was a little bit loud when we arrived, we were sat in the conservatory side, but when a couple of tables left it was fine.

   With covid rising I’d rather not have sat so close to the next tables but as a last minute booking I can’t complain too much and everything else was superb. Excellent veggie roast and my kids ate nearly everything of their big helpings!

   The food was excellent and very good value when discount included. Service was abysmal. Our “while you wait” was delivered AFTER our main course - 45 minutes after it was ordered. We did not accept it then.

   One of us had gammon, which was poor. Lots of fat on one piece - striped with one inch width of fat and one inch of gammon. This was repeated across the piece. One small piece was good. Presentation was good. The second person had haddock, which was very good. However, the chips were hard and not easy to eat. The parking was horrendous, as a lot of gardening work was taking place. Would not recommend on this evidence.

   Lovely staff, service excellent as always and food great. Would have given the food 5 stars except the hand cut chips were so hard couldnt eat most of them fearing for my teeth. Shame. Otherwise excellent.

    We are yesterday at the Ring of bells in Christleton and the table was ok. As it was a Tuesday it wasn't busy back and forth along the car park which is what we were sat next too. Their decking area was being replaced which was a shame because that's where I expected to be sat but never mind. I can say the staff were very nice. But the food was not great at all. I had the steak sandwich which was very disappointing. It came like a burger on brioche bap and the steak was very nice but that was where it ended. I couldn't eat the bun because it was covered in cheese sauce which was what you expect on Cauliflower but it just didn't go with the steak at all. I was aware it had cheese sauce so it was my mistake but I just don't think it tasted right together and it was so messy to eat I ended up with it all o er myself. I would have preferred just cheese. My dad had the crispy beef salad which was lovely but incredibly spicy and a little to spicy for my dad. And my mum just had a starter which was ok although the gravy that came with it was sludgy with a skin on top. Which was rather off putting. So all in all a bit of a disappointment.

    Disappointed. Have been to the ring o bells dozens of times but the quality of the food is really going down hill. Had a burger. Cheap coleslaw (would have expected homemade for the price), came with pulled chicken (it literally was just white ripped up bits of chicken that looked like leftovers from roast dinner), beef patty was small and insipid looking), fries were disappointing. No side salad. Type of thing I would have expected at a cheap chain restaurant. Expect better from Ring o Bells. Particularly for £16

    Welcomed promptly and seated: asked for drinks and water. Drinks arrived relatively promptly; no tap water. Asked again; but it did not arrive until main courses. Drinks generally arrived more slowly than food. Good starters: calamari southern fried chicken and tomato bruschetta . Followed by roast beef snd steak. Good veg and nice roasties. Pudding was a mango semi freddo served too cold so not as tasty as it should have been, with a delicious blood orange sorbet and strawberries; and ice cream from the Cheshire IcecreamFarm. Generally good cooking but spoilt by details. Wine is a tad more pricy than it may be should be?

    Lovely warm welcome. Dogs aloud. Nice menu choices and nice to see a few vegan options too. I had the vegan pizza which was delicious!

    Unfortunately the food was poor, and had to be sent back, when replaced still wasn’t great so there happy to serve to that standard we didn’t stay for desert

    We enjoyed a family meal at Ring o belles for Father’s Day. We eat here regularly & always have a great experience/ meal. Good service & food was delicious as always & it’s good value for money. As the weather is improving we sat outside for a while after eating & the outside area could do with a revamp including the children's play area 👍🏼

    We like it here. It was a bit too noisy for me but when some people left it was fine. The food was very good. My other half said the soup was the best he had tasted. I love the garlic tomato pizza bread. Only slight criticism is I would have liked it hotter. The roast Turkey was fab. Excellent range of veg

    I had booked mentioning one of the party was gluten free, I was really impressed to find a gluten free menu waiting for us at the table. The choice of food was excellent, not used too having so many gluten free options

    Very pleasant, vibrant place. They employ a number of young adults to serve at tables and work behind the bar. All are a credit to the management. Been in so many similar environments where the younger members of staff are looking at their phones. Good food albeit an 8oz steak was a tad pricey but excellent

    It was busy but we ordered food and it took nearly an hour to arrive. Had to ask twice for more drinks and nobody checked if the food was ok when it did arrive.

    Firts visit for a couple of years - a Family Treat - treat it was. We were delighted with the menu choices, cheerfulness of our server and general cheerful ambience. Starters were tasty and tempting: Bruschetta with Garlic Cherry Tomatoes & Fresh Basil, Calamari Alioli (we had two servings and shared). For mains, one of us had Buddha Bowl Basmati & Wild Rice, Roast Veg & Pulses, Seeds, Avocado Salsa, Guacamole with additional Haloumi. Another chose Caesar Salad. Our vegetarian family member chose the ~Vegetarian Sunday Roast (with the largest Yorkshire Pudding I've seen for a long time. The children chose from the Children's Menu and demolished everything in front of them. The dessert of Belgian Waffle accompanied by three scoops of vanilla ice-cream and butterscotch sauce ensured that the writer of this review spent the rest of the afternoon snoozing. Maybe the two large glasses of Merlot helped. Will be returning.

    The food was terrific and we are so glad we went as after the bill arrived, we discovered it was 50% off all food!!! Yay, bonus. The service was not the quickest, but, to be fair, it was exceptionally busy. Well done the Ring O Bells, Christleton.

    We’ve been here a few times before and took family along this time. Lovely as always except the chicken burgers were slightly over cooked and the batter was slightly burnt . Love this place and the staff. See you soon

    Extended seating outside and suspect kitchen not expanded so long wait for food and had to go to service area to get waitress service for drinks more than once. Steak for main was less than rare and sent back. Came back sliced and barely cooked any further so unable to eat it. On plate collection I made the point to a young waitress and a little later a 'manageress' came to the table to tell me that she had seen the steak being cooked more! Unfortunately, the uneaten plate spoke for itself and yet I was being told I was wrong. Interesting approach to customer service and no adjustment to the bill. Friends and I will not be returning.

    told burgers where buy one get one free, they where half price so someone could have had something else but it wasn't made clear, charged for bacon (£2 ish per burger) we didn't ask for, soft drinks way too expensive £2.20 for black-current cordial is ridiculous to be honest. Price should be disclosed when ordering if its that high.

    Nice food. But why are dogs permitted in the restaurant? Dogs OK, but owners seem to think they can go anywhere and get too close to other diners who do not wish to be sitting next to smelly dogs whilst eating.
