Rodizio Rico - Birmingham Ratings and Reviews
Had a lovely evening and the waiter who was serving us was lovely. Food was lovely and the cocktails were delicious! My husband is a total carnivore so this was the best choice to satisfy his meat cravings! Delicious food especially the sirloin steak and the chicken. We will definitely return soon. Thank you to the staff for an amazing evening
This was our first time at the restaurant we did not know of it until a friend told us about it l was a little sceptical about the price at first but when we got to the restaurant l was very impressed with the welcoming greetings from the staff and the service at the table we had a very enjoyable meal and all my concern was totally unjustified thank you for a very enjoyable evening
When I fold my friends it was unlimited meat they thought I was joking! This place is a real must for meat lovers. Meat of all kinds, with a mixed choice of steak to please well done lovers to the really rare.
Go in an empty stomach and you won't be disappointed.
This was our first visit to rodizio rico and we will definitely be returning. The choice of meat is great, it was constantly coming round from sausage to pork to chicken wings & thights plus various cuts of beef which has to be the best beef I have tasted. I'm usually not a beef fan but it was delicious! There is also a help yourself salad cart and the mini cheese balls, potato salad and fresh baguette was nice. The restaurant is big and spacious. It is definately worth trying.
The whole experience was new to us and we enjoyed it . The boys coming round with the meat were very polite. We had a dirty glass but that was sorted and swapped for a dearer glass of fizz. Our bottle of prosecco we ordered was cava, but money was deducted off the bill. We had a brill choice of an array of food off the salad bar to.
Our first time and we loved it. Pre show dinner (early) so not at all busy. Window table with view over the canal, at least 8 different skewers of meat, beautifully seasoned and piping hot, offered by very pleasant and attentive serving staff. Great dining experience.
We chose this restaurant for a family meal. It was very relaxed and friendly. We all enjoyed the setting and the unhurried pace of the meal. Although we really enjoyed the food and ambiance because we are not all huge meat eaters I don't think we would go again. The vegetarian options seemed very limited. I would however recommend the restaurant as a great experience.
Made my first lunchtime visit today and it won't be my last. Lovely table overlooking the canal. The meat is delicious, how chicken can be cooked to such moistness and flavour I've no idea, but my taste buds appreciated the alchemy. A constant flow of different meats left us borderline immobile (how graphic). Salad was ok, reasonable choice for most people, nothing amazing, but then who goes there for salad? If you are a definite carnivore this will be heaven. The cost at lunchtime was a very reasonable £14.95.
This was our 4th visit to Rodizio and can't say we were disappointed. The salad bar has become a little 'samey' and the garlic bread needs to be changed or taken off the menu as it has been rock hard the last twice. I'm not too keen on the salad bar as I feel it is a little limited to what I like. Could do with a plain pasta dish or with sweetcorn as all I tend to have is lettuce and a piece of bread. The butter could do with being a little less hard so it doesn't rip the bread, but overall, everyone enjoyed their experience.
If you can get the Groupon vouchers, the meal proves to be far more attractive. We purchased 6 tickets with the intention of using these in 1 visit, but used them in 2 instead.
The meat just melts in your mouth and at times can come to you thick and fast rather than the timing being more spaced out, but they do have a lot of people to get round.
Would I recommend it to anyone? Of course I was - Rodizio has brought a breath of fresh air to Birmingham and The Cube and I hope that they will continue to flourish.
The price of the drinks is a little pricey and so glad that our voucher included a cocktain / drink to the value of £6.10!
My partner and I had trouble with a booking for another restaurant so took a chance and booked a table at Rodizio Rico. Glad we made that choice, the staff were very friendly, apart from the fact they forgot I had ordered the vegetarian option, so had to wait an age before I could get someones attention. The food was great for him, not so good for me I found the bbq veg skewer just lacking something. Maybe an option for halloumi or some sort of spices putting on them would make it seem a bit more value for money. In all the place is great if you are a meat fan, but bland for us veggies
