Rodizio Rico - Birmingham
Worth the experience, shame about the lack of variety in terms of the meat menu
Whilst we enjoyed the experience as a whole we feel that you do need a very big appetite to take advantage of everything on offer or you might feel that the price is a little expensive
Fab place to eat and staff are brilliant and really helpful you won’t leave hungry has so much choice. Location is easy to get to and lively and lovely venue
I wish there was mo sweets for dessert and starter ,
Rodizio was highly recommended to me by friends and it did not disappoint. The food was great and although it is a wee bit on the steep side, I would definitely visit again.
Really Great place, food is very good buffet part could do with some more Brasilian items but on the whole excellent.
Great food and great staff make this a good place to go to for special occasions. A little noisy thanks to a large table of over exuberant people on the table next to us but a small thing.
Expensive place to eat but for once or twice a yesr it's grest
The restaurant has been shut down... very unhappy to have booked through this site to arrive to that.
Travelled 30miles with a group of 4 and they were closed the way I look at it if your closed don’t take any bookings online your misguiding customers will not be returning to this restaurant again was a waste of evening
It's not the restaurant that I wouldn't recommend it's opentable. We booked the table, drove 20 miles to Birmingham to find that the restaurant was closed for the whole weekend.
No problems at all. For £25 each of unlimited food you can’t really complain can you
Sincerely disappointed with Rodizio Rico Birmingham. Having dined there before I booked a table in advance for a time slot which was advertised as available (10:00pm) to arrive to a pre booked meal to be told they had stopped serving food. Bearing in mind their website displayed their closing time that evening to be 11:30 and their last serving would be 45 minutes prior to that we arrived with plenty of time yet were turned away at the door by a member of staff. They will have been aware that the table was booked and a party was due to arrive yet despite this decided they were unable to cater. Poor turnout for Rodizio Rico
Always great service and food. The restaurant is well managed and very and clean.
Brought my mum for dinner. Really nice evening and the staff were amazing and polite.
Great food that keeps on coming. Good range of buffet sides and tonnes of very tasty, well seasoned meat. I'll keep going as long as it's open.
Great location and great service. Sadly very few edible similarities to a real Chirrascaria. Plenty of non-expensive meat cuts but little great beef tastes as you get in Brazil. Not impressed with the offcuts passed off as “veal” or “baby beef”. Go for the experience but that’s it.
The food was superb. I have to admit, I found myself having the meat sweats but that was purely my greed!
The service couldn’t be faulted and the friendliness of the staff really added to the pleasure of the visit.
We had a woucher which the waitress made us get on our phones to find whilst standing in the door way she should of allowed us to be seated at least ! The food was ok but very salty and no fries to go with all the meat ??? Very strange we were not offered another round of drinks at all during our time there just thought it wasn’t a very pleasant experience
We booked a table for 3 on line for 3pm but we arrived at 15:30pm due to traffic congestion, the guy who received us told us adviced that they were closing at 16:00hrs so if we wanted could come back later and we did rebook then for 17:30, which we came back later then and enjoyed a lovely evening. I would bring more friends to this place
Amazing food! Great service! Definitely coming back!
Fantastic service and delicious food. Highly recommend.
Interesting service style: most food is at the buffet (very good quality!) and then the servers wander the dining floor each with their own spigot of meat. Food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was not as high end as I'd expected, but nice and casual.
Was my first visit with my son, staff very welcoming and attentive, food choice was excellent and I enjoyed the whole new experience.
Great food, traditional rodizio, including chicken hearts and picanha, pau du queuso, etc. Continual service as expected but also personal touches. Will be going back!
I’ve been there for two time, every time is a wonderful experience, the food is delicious, and choices are various.
Booked this to entertain Customers and having previously been here I knew everyone would enjoy it and they did, with their quirky way to serve the varied meats a great salad bar to chose from with traditional Brazilian food this place has a great feel to it.
The quality of the meat is unstable and service is not good as the waiter with meat just ignored us after we started for one hour, maybe they just think we finished however we haven’t...we started from 6:30pm and the first round of meat was too tough to be cut and the beef was over cooked. It seems like the left meat from lunch...not really good experience.
Great food, lovely attentive waiter! Will definitely be coming back when in Birmingham.
We were given a table with a lovely view of the canal and more importantly a lovely breeze ( it was 30 degrees). The restaurant is a help yourself to salads and other accompaniments such as lasagne. A waiter brings round meat on a skewer and cuts this at your table. Some meat excellent other not so. They need to label the food better for those with allergies , not just the name of the item.
The restaurant was very busy with lots of large parties but that did not detract from our meal.
This is a great place if you like meat
But it fers far too noisy and you vannot hear each others conversation.
Plus i like to decide if service is worth a tip
Not have it added to the bill
Great meal...great service! A lovely chap called Roberto (I think) served us, such a nice, friendly guy. Highly recommend this place, bring an appetite!
Great selection of meats with excellent salad and sides bar. Also good for vegetarians.
Amazing service & exellent food!
Highly recommend 🙂
Took our Australian friends for dinner who thought it was amazing. We were given a table by the window so they could see the narrow boats 😍. Staff & food were as wonderful as ever. Looking forward to going back again 👌
The salad bar was nice but the meat selection that we chose the place for was awful. Cheap quality meats badly cooked and not tasty! Didn’t have a single piece of nice meat and big gaps in service as we were sitting in corner. They had a sausage that looked disgusting with fatty bits that was almost inedible! Would never go again as it’s expensive too!
Meat supply not as plentiful as previous visits, much slower to return to table, servers were friendly, however running out of their dish and not returning to the point of where they left off so we ended up missing out on several occasions, a little disappointing if I am honest. We will try this restaurant once more to give it another chance as previously enjoyed our visits.
Food was so so, very bland , tasteless .Needed to add some flavour especially to meats. Toooo Expensive.Service was top class.
Good staff. Very friendly. Excellent food and our table position had good views.
Would recommend and will definitely come again.
The food was salty, not great. Very loud restaurant couldn’t hear what we were being offered. The meat was salty & we only got offered chicken, beef & gammon. The buffet was gross - really lacklustre. The best thing was corn on the cob. For £30 a head it was extortionate for the food on offer & it was pretty evident that the waitress knew we didn’t like the food from the lack of attention we received.
The whole experience was new to us and we enjoyed it . The boys coming round with the meat were very polite. We had a dirty glass but that was sorted and swapped for a dearer glass of fizz. Our bottle of prosecco we ordered was cava, but money was deducted off the bill. We had a brill choice of an array of food off the salad bar to.
