Rodizio Rico - Birmingham
This is a great place if you like meat
But it fers far too noisy and you vannot hear each others conversation.
Plus i like to decide if service is worth a tip
Not have it added to the bill
Great meal...great service! A lovely chap called Roberto (I think) served us, such a nice, friendly guy. Highly recommend this place, bring an appetite!
Great selection of meats with excellent salad and sides bar. Also good for vegetarians.
Amazing service & exellent food!
Highly recommend 🙂
Took our Australian friends for dinner who thought it was amazing. We were given a table by the window so they could see the narrow boats 😍. Staff & food were as wonderful as ever. Looking forward to going back again 👌
The salad bar was nice but the meat selection that we chose the place for was awful. Cheap quality meats badly cooked and not tasty! Didn’t have a single piece of nice meat and big gaps in service as we were sitting in corner. They had a sausage that looked disgusting with fatty bits that was almost inedible! Would never go again as it’s expensive too!
Meat supply not as plentiful as previous visits, much slower to return to table, servers were friendly, however running out of their dish and not returning to the point of where they left off so we ended up missing out on several occasions, a little disappointing if I am honest. We will try this restaurant once more to give it another chance as previously enjoyed our visits.
Food was so so, very bland , tasteless .Needed to add some flavour especially to meats. Toooo Expensive.Service was top class.
Good staff. Very friendly. Excellent food and our table position had good views.
Would recommend and will definitely come again.
The food was salty, not great. Very loud restaurant couldn’t hear what we were being offered. The meat was salty & we only got offered chicken, beef & gammon. The buffet was gross - really lacklustre. The best thing was corn on the cob. For £30 a head it was extortionate for the food on offer & it was pretty evident that the waitress knew we didn’t like the food from the lack of attention we received.
The whole experience was new to us and we enjoyed it . The boys coming round with the meat were very polite. We had a dirty glass but that was sorted and swapped for a dearer glass of fizz. Our bottle of prosecco we ordered was cava, but money was deducted off the bill. We had a brill choice of an array of food off the salad bar to.
The food was lovely but the steak should be offered as well done or medium rare. Diners should have the option to choose.
The best date night location, the meats they use are so so delicious, I will be returning for sure
Great food! Lots of selection! Great staff and great atmosphere
Great for business. No menus so no delay. Not the best of meat used but ok and tasted good
Service was good and food was very nice I would come back again enjoyed my birthday here
Really nice atmosphere and the food and service was very good.
Our first time and we loved it. Pre show dinner (early) so not at all busy. Window table with view over the canal, at least 8 different skewers of meat, beautifully seasoned and piping hot, offered by very pleasant and attentive serving staff. Great dining experience.
Always a joy fantastic service and quality food, I love different types of meats and if you enjoy that kind of food then it's the perfect place to eat until you can't eat anymore
This is more than we would normally pay to dine and with a family of five we could only do this for special occasions. Had a great night though and would certainly recommend.
My first visit for birthday treat for my adult son who has dined there before but we were both disappointed with the meat because most had been tough - the exception was sirloin steak which was brought to table nice and hot, succulent and was the best of all. The lamb was not only tough but almost cold. The only other which was enjoyable was the gammon! The buffet table was very well laid out with a lot of choice. We would rather had chosen that at a reduced cost than the price paid for the meat. I would not personally go back !
Some of the meats were average, sausage very dry, overall was very expensive £140 for 4 ppl with 2 soft drink each £12 service charge.
Had a lovely evening and the waiter who was serving us was lovely. Food was lovely and the cocktails were delicious! My husband is a total carnivore so this was the best choice to satisfy his meat cravings! Delicious food especially the sirloin steak and the chicken. We will definitely return soon. Thank you to the staff for an amazing evening
Excellent food and quality
Great place will be visiting again
My 10yr old son wanted to celebrate his birthday and he chose rodizo rico as we have been here on a few occasions and have always had Avery good dining experience, and the same can be said for this occasion
Was a really good experience we were well looked after and very well served.
I am not really a meat eater, but it was really nice. My brother and I meet up once a month as a get together, he really loved it.
Lovely food and cocktails, expensive but worth it for a special occasion
Had a great birthday here with my squad. Thanks
The food was great... that we had. As the restaurant filled our selection of meats and times serviced dropped dramatically which we were very unhappy about
The food was ok. We may have been unlucky however cheaper cuts of meat came round much more than the steak etc. Not bad for a change but won't go back
This was our first time at the restaurant we did not know of it until a friend told us about it l was a little sceptical about the price at first but when we got to the restaurant l was very impressed with the welcoming greetings from the staff and the service at the table we had a very enjoyable meal and all my concern was totally unjustified thank you for a very enjoyable evening
Well organised and great food with expert serving the food. It is a great resturant with quality food range and nice salads.
Booked via Opentable. Arrived at restaurant where we were told no tables available and there would be a 40 minute wait. Poor customer service from both Opentable & Rodizio
This was not my first time here but the food is great, and the service was very good, I really enjoy this place, I will be returning every time I come To Birmingham UK
Very good food and cheerful staff a very clean enviroment. I will visit sgain and again.
Wanted to try out Rodizio Rico for a while as we'd visited several other Brazilian style eateries and enjoyed the atmosphere and eating experience. Generally the reviews for RR are positive so was really looking forward to enjoying a Christmas treat with my partner,
Unfortunately we must have visited on an off night (a Monday) because we weren't impressed. Firstly the positives...great attentive staff, a really nice Sangria and the buffet had an interesting mix of hot and cold accompaniments.
Unfortunately that was about it because the meat was not very enjoyable. The first cuts of beef to be brought to the table were tough, over seasoned and extremely 'well done'. Various other cuts arrived and there appeared to be only two options 'well done' or blue, nothing in between.
The best of meat was the lamb, provided we were able to get the first cut from the outside as further slices were raw and inedible.
Sorry RR but we were really disappointed, but to his credit our server tried his best for us.
Meat choice very poor seemed as if the same 4 meats were rotated every 5 minutes. Watch out for the service charge!
There was no booking made in our name even though we had the email confirmation. The restaurant were luckily able to accommodate us but it could have been embarrassing with overseas guests.
Our second visit and we love this restaurant, we had a groupon offer this time around and this made the evening great value, will definitely be visiting again in the future
