ROKA - Canary Wharf
The name ROKA carries great meaning - ROKA is a meeting place where food and drinks are shared with friends (ro) and heat, warmth and an all-embracing energy surround (ka). The principle cuisine is from the robata grill, which originates from the fishermen of the northern coastal waters off japan, who would cook the fish on the boats with different charcoals and share the bounty with one another using their oars.
ROKA charlotte street opened in 2004, ROKA canary wharf in 2009, ROKA mayfair in february 2014 and ROKA aldwych in october 2014.
Kindly note that our set brunch menu is served throughout lunchtime on Saturdays and all day on Sundays – a la carte menu is not available during this time. Menus may vary according to date, time and location, please check menus prior to booking.

Was lovely as we both really like it in their
Love this place !
We had the great advice with the menu and every course was absolutely delicious , the lamb chops were to die for.
Roka is simply beautiful. This was my first time dining at their Canary Wharf restaurant and it was lovely. Stunning food and great service. Yes Roka is pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. One of my favourite restaurants. I only visit once a year but it's a real treat that a always look forward to.
Lunch Menu is OKAY
Great spot and service top notch
Extremely enjoyable experience and had a lovely time.
Will recommend for the bottomless menu for those who like a drink especially brunch on Sunday.
Very loud, too many many people walking past the table. Don't put tables next to the toilet. The food was but nothing special. For that price we expected something special.
Excellent food, great company, good service! Really enjoyed it.
Bring back old options on the menu
We were the first dinner reservation for the night so we were the only ones there at first but even as it got busy; the waiters were all phenomenal. All served us so quick and pleasantly. food was delicious!
Couldnt ask for much more. Food and service fantastic
Service was excellent, could not fault the staff working there. Food was good but not worth the price. Portion sizes were very small, just enough for 1 person let alone 2 people. Not a big menu to choose from. Overall, I wouldn’t be quick to return to Roka. As I believe competitors like Hakassan offers better value for money in terms of portion size and quality.
Water supply stopped at 6:00 pm. The restaurant had to close earlier.
I miss the King Crab porridge that Roka used to have!
Service was appalling. Been many times to ROKA Canary Wharf and Was not up to usual standards
Great service and always beautiful food at Roka...
Food was not up to high standard had to send back items
Great food and service. Still the best in Canary Wharf
Everything you expected and more
Superb all round
Visited for a birthday and I have a toodler, she was very welcomed and we all had a great time. Food was amazing same as the service! Looking forward to visit again!
Service was poor. Main course arrived with 15/29minute gaps. Was much better in the past. Shame. Lovely restaurant.
Very nice food. Nice service. Excellent environment
Great experience. The food was great and I was left very satisfied.
Amazing!! I loved everything about it!
Wrong orders blamed on nut allergy clearly not true.
Not very attentive staff
I love this place, only criticism is, the premium set lunch menu for 4 men, was "light", you need to supplement with a couple more dishes if you are hungry.
I had forgotten when booking that Roka can be a little loud, but even taking into account festive cheer the ambient noise last week was beyond acceptable for a business meal. The chef's shouting of orders to the kitchen staff was unbelievable, and while perhaps part of the theatre of the culinary experience, it was an unnecessary interruption to every conversation. Although I love the food, which is why I would recommend to a friend, sadly I will reconsider any future business meals in Canary Wharf.
Service and food consistently good and never disappoints.
Great ambience and food. Service good but a little slow at times. Enjoyed the evening
Lovely service and food. Tables sufficiently well spread out to afford some privacy for business meetings.
I have been to the brunch a few times now and it never disappoints. Great food, great service and lovely setting
Absolutely magical and the most humblest of services and my second visit was topped off by the kind words and warm welcome from the Owner none other than Mr Gordon Ramsay 😍
Good food as always but very loud inside. Service a bit sloppy, had to wait ages for hot starters.
Went for a birthday meal for two on a Tuesday evening. We ordered the seasonal tasting menu. Food was good (the sashimi particularly so). However, service was very poor. One of the dishes on the tasting menu never arrived, and there was a wait of a full hour between finishing our mains and dessert arriving. To cap it off, when the dessert was finally served, it didn't have the birthday message I had arranged over the phone when booking. Not impressed.
I didn't expect the food to be that good and the timing of the food coming out was perfect
Thank you for making our day special!
Went there with my team for a business dinner. Food was excellent as per usual. Service, however, was very poor. The clock room ladies were rude on the way in as we left our coats and on the way out as we asked for the coats back. We waited a good 30mins before we got the menus. Waiters broke glass twice just behind our table with no apology or checking if we were ok. The food was very slow to arrive and then we were told we couldn’t order dessert because the table was booked. Not sure whether it was a particularly bad night for the staff but definitely not great service.
We had an amazing time at ROKA for my boyfriends birthday. The staff were very attentive and lovely
