I didn’t actually go on Easter Sunday - we went for my birthday in 17th March.
I have heard a lot about Rosso but haven’t actually been.
I can actually say I absolutely loved everything from my first drink to my meal. The atmosphere was lovely and every member of staff were so polite and couldn’t do enough for you.
I can’t wait to visit again when this horrible situation is over. Keep safe everyone...thank you!😊
Amazing food, amazing service! Definitely one of my favourite restaurants
Great place, great food and good service, as always.
We had a lovely meal at Rosso for our anniversary. Considering it was during the Coronavirus outbreak, the ambience was lovely and we would lvoe to come back to experience it at a more lively state. Thank you for looking after us so well! The portions were huge so you definitely got more than your moneys worth.
Food was very good however the service was significantly lacking. Nobody tended to the table the entire night and it was hard to get the attention of a waitress.
Really good service and food. I would definitely come here again!
Food was excellent, drinks delivered timely and as Sunday lunch menu was chosen I would have expected the server to let us know other dessert options were at an additional cost. It is only for the fact I have been to Rosso quite a few times I asked the question
Service is great they defiantly have enough staff on to make it great within seconds drinks ordered and within minutes it arrived and not very line wait for your food. Overall great customer service from all staff.
Shocking customer service, seated inbetween two other couples who were rude, voucher that we had we were told wasn't usable on Saturdays and no attempt to make this better from the management who were quite rude.
I’ve been a number of times and the food is always really good. The staff were so welcoming and lovely, even to my sometimes rowdy two year old daughter!
Service very good food delicious ambiance relaxing but sophisticated
Lovely food and lovely waiting staff. This was my mum’s 60th birthday and she was very pleased that the chef came out to meet her.
We always enjoy our visit to Rossos. Staff friendly, helpful and obliging.
Thank you again for a pleasant meal.
Great food as always and great afternoon. Not rushed and had a fab meal catching up with family. Amazing wine and amazing food. Always reliable and a great treat.
Whilst our waitress was lovely, the management were rude. We were not aware we only had a two hour booking and the management rushed us to finish our desserts which were served so quick we joked with the waitress at her reading our minds! No time for coffee or aperitif and we had to gulp the rest of our wine down. They were quick to take our drinks order when we were seated but not so quick to take our food order. We were almost done when we were told rather nicely by our waitress that they needed the table - we watched the management team fret over I pads in front of us Perhaps it would have been polite to say can I get you the bill and you can take your coffee at the bar? When we called over a member of the senior waiting team to complain about being rushed he informed us rather rudely that we only had a two hour window They practically threw the bill at us - and whizzed the card payment through. When we got home it does state in the small print on open table when you make the booking but we weren't aware. We spent over £300 and their attitude spoilt our evening celebrating our daughter's birthday. They need to make some allowance for people going over their slot. And watch their attitude. It was all too rushed and we won't be going back or recommending this place to friends.
Food was lovely but overpriced - portions mixed - but what you would expect of stylish restaurant. If you want to preen and hobnob with reality TV stars and Love Island wannabees then you'd love it, but if you're looking for a dining experience to celebrate a special occasion, there are much less pretentious and better eateries in Manchester.
Wonderful service, waitress for my table was so polite and made sure we had a good night.
Beautiful place superb friendly service and excellent food
A little on pricey side but overall fantastic restaurant
The usual good setting, good service and good food.
Awful food - poor presentation & tastelessness
A Wednesday lunch with friends to celebrate a big birthday could not have been better. Thank you.
Great venue and service but one guest had a very poor main meal . All credit to Rosso they removed the cost of this meal from the bill.
Perfect food and lovely vibe. Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyed a delicious meal in the most fabulous building,
30 minute wait for our table.
characters of dubious repute in attendance.
Great staff, delicious food and outstanding service🙂
Hmmm its a hard one!!! So we booked this meal weeks in advance to celebrate my birthday. Game day in Manchester so town busy and we chose Rosso. Unknown to me- my husband emailed in advance to pre- order VClicot Champagne however a specific year - we were married on 08.08.08 and he requested that year to celebrate . We walked in and reception advised our table wasn’t ready, we took a seat and waited. Reception staff walks over and says “You ordered champagne at the table (i wasn't aware) sorry we dont have it what else do you want ?? My husband was furious- why bother emailing prior to evening as he thought all in order then suddenly sorry in such a manner. Just poor!!! The food was delicious- i guess picking night up after being disappointed. Service other than server called Alex was nothing special to be honest. Alex was fabulous and agreed not good if we preordered champs. Feel like i had higher expectations for this place and feel overall not that special. Our bill £300 for 4 - this was ok however just wanted to walk away thinking that was great - lets go back and this certainly was not the case. We just welcomed our first baby 5 months ago and this was our first night as parents away and part of me wished we dined somewhere else.
Overall expectations were higher and was disappointed in several things.
Great service from Alex, steak was the best I have ever had. Wonderful ambience.
Visited twice now and both times food and service have been excellent would definitely recommend.
Daughters birthday with a group of friends. Staff were amazing. Food exceptional. They absolutely loved it and had an amazing time.
Excellent family meal and Rosso's always going to be the first choice. Great for a small group, business lunch or romantic meal. From start to finish you are made welcome, relaxed and valued. The lunch deal is excellent and runs through the week and weekend. Set 3 course with a deal on the lunchtime wine. Menus are changed regularly and so I will never tire of visiting Rosso's and being looked after by the watchful eye of Sacha, Anna and Victor.
Great ambience, the music was Everything! Nice mix of 80’s soul music to Afro beats! Good service, much better than the last time we were there. We changed our mind on our order and the waitress and manager were happy to provide an alternative!- would definitely visit again
Fantastic place for dinner on a buzzing Friday night.
Loved the food, the decor and the energy of the place.
Highly recommended !
Can't fault the great service, menu, or the food.. All absolutely excellent.. The noise however was too loud.. My friends and I found it very difficult to hold a conversation.. The ambience was good but fine food and loud noise aren't perfect partners for me and my friends..
Rosso has always been up there on my list of places to go, and it did not disappoint. Our starters (we had the bruschetta Classico) were lovely, although they could have done with a bit more balsamic vinegar as the bread was a little dry but they came out very quickly.
For mains we had several pasta dishes. Which were all phenomenal!
And our desserts were lovely, would definitely recommend the profiteroles, and they have a good selection of gelato. The only thing I’ll say is that we were served by quite a few people, it seemed almost too attentive at times like they were trying to get us out for a higher table turnover. And my tea at the end was forgotten but they took this off the bill. All in all I would definitely go back again! X
The service was awful. It was my birthday night and we were left in a corner having to get up to ask for waiters
One of our party has MS and uses a crutch to aid mobility. He was unable to access the disabled toilet in the far corner of the bar area due to congestion and lack of defined walkways. Not good service for less abled people. If when had brought our daughter who is a wheelchair user, she would have had no chance whatsoever getting through to the toilet. Very sad when you have to personally ask patrons to stand up from their chairs and move out of the way. Twice.
We really had a great time with my girlfriend we are surely coming back
Lovely lunchtime set menu, great value. Watch out for the Insta brigade who spend the whole time photographing everything- so irritating!!!
Lovely food in beautiful surroundings. Lunchtime menu- good value for money and excellent service
Never fails to deliver on quality of food, service and ambience
