A beautiful restaurant local to shops and yet luxurious.
Excellent service from really pleasant staff.
Food was cold and over priced. Had to wait 20 mins for a table despite having a booking
We had an absolutely amazing meal here on Saturday evening! The service was absolutely fabulous and I’d definitely return and recommend to anyone!
Had an amazing night at Rosso. Great food and survice
Our favourite place! Staff are attentive and friendly. Food is stunning and reasonably priced lunch menu
Rosso never fails to deliver - beautiful food in beautiful surroundings. Always delivers good service too. Back again soon I hope
Me and my boyfriend come for a meal for his 21st birthday on 24th January, we was very upset with the service and how the staff had treated us. We felt really rushed as our mains come out within ten minutes of having our starter. When our mains arrived we wasn’t ready to have them, we asked for a bit of a break as we felt rushed and we then got told that we should have told them. Any other restaurant I have been to have always asked if we are ready for our food. At the end of the meal they did apologise and gave complimentary drinks, however this is not how we wanted to have our meal
Well positioned table. Fabulous food and wine. Waiters were attentive when needed but not over bearing.
Perfect place for great food and wonderful atmosphere. Never disappointed when I dining with you. Don’t change your magic formula it works every time
Our waitress and waiter were extremely polite and efficient
3rd time here. Amazing food, service...everything
I will be back again and again
First and last time at Rosso. Did not live up to the expectations. Food was quite average considering Rosso is considered a higher end restaurant. The service was shocking. It was a quiet Tuesday evening, the restaurant was not busy yet the staff struggled to be efficient and failed to give a warm and welcoming attitude.
My pasta dish was quite bland so I requested some chilly sauce for it. There was no staff available walking past so I decided to ask the staff member stood behind me, just asking for some chilly sauce, who turned around and told me to ask a waiter. Bare in he was stood behind me, behind a small wall so I could not see his uniform to determine he was bar staff, not a waiter. Even so, how hard is it to grab some chilly sauce when you're stood doing nothing? Another staff member, I'm guessing `a waiter, responded with "one minute" and I left it at that. I actually had to ask another staff member a few minutes later to actually get the sauce.
The service standard for a quiet day was incredibly poor. Will not be coming back and definitely will not recommend to anyone.
The ravioli was amazing. Poor thing that you pay for water when you buy red Wine
Very loud music average food
Amazing amazing food, great atmosphere and such good service. I would travel back to Manchester just to come here for dinner!
Great meal, great service. We will definitely return.
The lunch menu and wine is excellent value. We had all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Service was good. Nice gap between courses. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Will definitely be back.
I done at Rosso regular with girl friends and we always enjoy the atmosphere, value and service. Particularly this time m. I do think the lunch menu is a great deal but having been on a Thursday and a Saturday I feel the portion size is considerably less on a Saturday.
Friendly staff and good ambience.
Enjoyed an excellent meal in very impressive surroundings.
Unfortunately, we were seated close to a speaker which made conversation a little difficult particularly as one of is hard of hearing. On reflection, we should have asked to move away from the speaker. However, this didn't detract from a most enjoyable experience.
Staff were very friendly and attentive. Good excellent
Would definitely return again food was lovely and staff were lovely too especially Bernardo !
Family birthday, complimentary profiteroles were a nice touch.
Great food, attentive but relaxed service and an all round nice evening.
Sunday lunch menu great value and excellent cut of beef. Highly recommend. When drinks added on it can add up but worth it to enjoy a lovely meal in a nice setting
Great night overall, had a starter and main finishing with cocktails. Good presentation, nice tasting food and drinks were at a nice temperature. Staff were nice, made you feel comfortable.
A few things could be altered to make it better, we were sat extremely close to another 2 people we were basically sat at the same table. Also the music was very loud however this is most likely because it was between 9:30 and 11 on a Saturday night, other than that, everything was spot on!
Great atmosphere, great food and service although it was a bit noisy.
Food was lovely, the profiteroles were amazing! Service wasn’t the best, we had to ask a couple of times for new drinks (we had sat with empty glasses for a while) and we waited about 50 minutes for food but it was Saturday night. Would definitely go again!
We had a fabulous night the food and staff was outstanding
Food was great but the service could be a little more attentive. We were given dessert without cutlery and had to stand up and go and ask as no waiting on staff checked for at least 10 mins. This is a minor downfall in what we consider to be a really nice dining experience, it was quite quiet when we visited during lunch service and the lunch menu was excellent value.
1st time, and won’t be last. Lovely place, food and staff.
It was my Fiancée birthday meal, it was perfect, staff really warm welcome, bar staff made some supper cocktails. Our waiter Joseph was the perfect company for our visit. Food was out standing and service top marks. We would visit again next time we are in Manchester. Congratulations to the Sat. 11 /01 team.
Excellent Service And Excellent Food We Really Enjoyed Our Evening
Excellent decor. Good service. Very nice overall experience
Although our server was friendly and good she was let down by the other staff. We had requested a tomato garlic bread to come with our mains, so they brought a cheese garlic bread before the mains on being informed it was tomato and we wanted it with the mains they went away and were just about to bring the correct order when our server reminded them that it was to come at the same time as the mains.
Personally I think Rosso is expensive for what you get and there are better and less expensive Italian dining options in Manchester.
We won’t be going here again.
Just a greati dining experience with friendly and courteous staff who are also attentive. Definitely go again
Fabulous service, Food amazing. Great atmosphere even on a Thursday in January. Lovely seating in booth area and well
Looked after noting it was an 18th birthday on the booking without prompt.
My meal was delicious however my husbands rib eye steak was not only cold but As described by him As tough as old boot. We did send it back and the next one was piping hot and much tendered. The waitress was lovely and very helpful she went to discuss with her manager and the lady did deduct the price of the bottle of wine. What we did feel was that it would have been nice if the Manager had come over to us but even though we saw her talking to the waitress she ignored us I've visited the restaurant a few times this was only my husbands second visit and I'm afraid it will be his last.
We loved it, amazing food and service!
