Fabulous dining experience. Fine food, excellent wine choices. Comes at a price but you get what you pay for!
Great restaurant, great food , just pleased we wasn’t sat next to a baby crying at 9pm at night,
Not quite a place for a baby to be
Not knowing exactly what to expect, the food was wonderful, and had great taste.
Wonderful experience of fine dining. Never tasted food like that before.
This restaurant was recommended to us by a family member who have dined there before and it was an absolute must for us to visit.
Delicious food - truly amazing flavours. And the chocolate shards with coffee were exceptional
Super service, attentive and friendly. Excellent food with beautiful presentation. Only negative is pricey drinks
Excellent restaurant. Third visit now and still doesn't disappoint. Staff are fantastic food is amazing. And whatever that bread is its soooo good!
Overall this restaurant is good and the food is tasty. I was disappointed by how rushed the service was and how quickly they tried to upsell before even giving us a chance to look at the menu. We were constantly interrupted by two waiters who both didn’t communicate well as they kept asking us the same questions. It was not as desirable as hoped and I’ve had better food for a cheaper price.
Amazing food and really attentive service. Had our anniversary there and they made it really special.
food was not outstanding - flavours were rather bland and nothing special. Had to ask twice to water to be refilled - waitress ignored our empty glasses and even when asked, took her time tending to other customers before refilling. not worth what you pay for.
Have been going to Roux at the Landaux since 2012 and this is by far the worst experience. Struggling to see where restaurant is going. Fine dining or just a bistro experience!!! Wine list and some of the wines available don't seem appropriate to the food offered as choices on menu are diminishing. Especially the last two years. My starter seemed to taste more yuzu than
balanced with yuzu. Main course great but why serve each couple with bowl of mashed potatoes. Doesn't need them. Don't get it. Dessert average. My local restaurant do better. Service deteriorated over the last couple of years. Extremely disappointing experience.
Lovely food, wine and service. Great tasting menu. We enjoyed it very much!
Excellent as always
If we lived closer we would definitely be there more often
A truly outstanding dinner served at a prefect pace. Dining at any of the Roux establishments always exceeds expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Landau for a time constrained business lunch or pre-thetare dinner ... and hope one day to return for a more leisurely tasting menu with wine flight.
Great food, very good service. Just the portions seem to have become smaller.
Still good value for money
One of my favourite restaurant!
The combination of Best dishes and wine collections !The service ,ambiance and attention to detail is excellent !I would highly recommend it to anyone......it is what a Michelin star should be !
Love love love love love
On this occasion I was meeting a friend for dinner. I booked the 3-course offer which included half a bottle of wine. The menu choices were all good. My quail main course was excellent! Service was very efficient and friendly. Didn’t feel rushed nor too slow. All in all a lovely dining experience.
Excellent food and service. Had the fixed menu and was superb.
Ottimo!!! Servizio eccezionale! Raffinato e di classe
Roux is one of our favorite places, and this dinner certainly did not disappoint. We cannot rave about this restaurant enough and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a lovely evening of culinary delights coupled with unbeatable service.
We arrived and everything was good until we ordered and had to wait a while before the first course arrived and subsequent courses. My husband had by this time eaten rather a lot of bread and was extremely hungry. We had a 7.30 pm booking which I would have thought that the kitchen would be able to cope. The food was nice but my husband had the cheaper special menu and I had the a la carte. I had checked out both as I am quite a fussy eater but the a la carte menu I was given was much reduced. I had the beef in the end and it was delicious and the whole meal was delicious but could have been served a bit more quickly on the first and second courses, ?We don't object to having a rest before pudding so that would have been ok. On the whole it was pleasant but just slow.
Fantastic meal in a gorgeous setting. Very special
Lovely food, and a great surprise at the end of our meal that made my girlfriends birthday even better.
A really special treat, the food is superb & the service exceptional. The staff invest their time to ensure you have the best experience. We ate sea bream, seaweed & cider salami, chicken ravioli, buccleuch beef, French quail, hazelnut praline sorbet & the poached vanilla cherries - every bit was beautifully flavoured & presented. Reasonably priced menu & a huge selection of wines. We couldn’t fault a single moment & would definitely look to visit again.
This has always been one of my favourite restaurants in London and Ive visited many times. The food was excellent as always but unfortunately the style of dining has changed to make rather an uncomfortable combination. The food is "fine dining" French Cuisine but all tablecloths have been removed, waiters now sport Beards/Tattoos and wear leather aprons. Its just not a combination that works together. Guests are dressing up (dress code is smart / casual) whilst staff are dressing down. I would revisit, also bring back the cheese trolley for the set menu, life is to short for a plate with pre-selected cheese.
We had a great time as always at Roux. Love eating here. The blueberry souffle was divine.
Perfect ambience, excellent food and will keep going back.
It was great and will definitely go back!
Very disappointing! Too noisy, too slow. I hated the breakfast experience. Limited options. I had fruit salad, fried eggs and bagel with cream cheese. All are below average. Won’t recommend at all.
Advised we were vegetarians when we arrived but no special menu or any worthy options. Had the tasting menu, but options extremely limited, basically salads and very small portions too. Wrong deserts were brought out, and wife’s desert was not nice and she had to leave it. Was given the wrong bill too at the end to top it off! Poor value for money and unfortunately won’t be going back - would def not recommend to vegetarians.
Excellent lunch with friends. The cod was very good and flavours fantastic, but could of eaten a bit more.
Deserts all scrumptious. Have eaten here a few times i will return again.
Our Investment club always has it's Christmas meal in the summer (our tradition) and we always like to go to somewhere a bit special. We very much enjoyed the lunch at the Landau. The setting was elegant. The staff extremely helpful and friendly. The food was good, but the sour dough bread was out of this world. I would certainly recommend the Landau For a special occasion.
Really enjoyed the 60 th birthday meal we had , great wines and good service .
A really lovely evening. The food and the service were excellent!
Expensive - but stunning service and very good food.
Loved our evening at the Landau
The food and the Service were excellent
We will definitely be returning and try Lunch Menu
Thanks everyone for making this a very relaxing and special evening
We have been here several times before, mostly for a weekend lunch, and usually rate it highly.
Not sure what it was that didn’t hit the spot tonight but the only “wow” was the petit four. The starters were very good, the mains were good (although the steak was over done and the quail was slightly overpowered by the sauce). The soufflé has a great taste but quite dense.
Service was mainly good but a 40 minute wait for the bill was frustrating.
Will we return? Probably but not for a while.
Delectable food. Beautiful room. Lunch menu is brilliant value.
