I love Roux at The Landau, always fantastic service with charming staff and delicious food!
Each dish was perfectly balanced and seasoned. Good number of choices on the menu and nice wines. Price is justified for the food and service you get. Would definitely recommend and go again.
Outstanding! Enough said
Service - advice on food and wine was spot on. As usual a fabulous evening of food and wine! Thank you
Amazing meal. Delicious wine. Excellent service from staff.
Service was terrible. Had one waitress working the room who's attention it was very tough to get. Not her fault obviously.
An exceptionally great experience. Super food, excellent wine and slick, professional friendly service. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, in comfortable, not too fussy, surroundings. Did the anti-veganuary menu - Foie Gras, followed by Suckling Pig accompanied by Michel Roux’s own Viognier from Languedoc. Spectacularly good and not unreasonably priced. Everyone’s plate went back empty.
A really good experience.
Lovely people looking after us..I am the diner from Hell..
Super food. Unfussy, full of flavour. Loved the limited lunch menu .
Jealous of the cheese fridge!
My only crit is the coffee. I found it bitter and 'thin'. I was expecting a full bodied French coffee.
We are already planning a return visit
We were met with a friendly face at reception and it just kept getting better the service was superb, sommelier made the evening complete with his expert advice fantastic food, superb ambience then superb wine to really top off a wonderful experience.
I can’t speak to highly of the staff a real credit to the restaurant.
We booked to celebrate an anniversary and were not disappointed. Staff were pleasant and knowledgable and we were made welcome and seated in a booth. The food and service were excellent and we shall return. The atmosphere was less formal than Le Gavroche but every bit as good.
Good choice on 3 course set menu. Food was solid, not spectacular. Experience hugely improved by very relaxed and friendly service from arrival to departure. At table, efficient and unobtrusive service. Lovely setting. Tables decently spaced (for central London anyway). No endless attempts to upsell. The champagne included in the deal was Taittinger and a generous glass. Delicious sourdough bread included and a fresh basket willingly brought when I dropped a slice on the floor.
Well done, Roux at The Landau. The food, perfectly nice as it was, may not be the very best in town but you got so many things right which upscale restaurants in central London just can’t seem to manage to do.
Always and without fail, impeccable service, especially from the front of house team. Great food, beautifully presented. It is quite simply my favourite breakfast venue in London.
It was amazing I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was exquisite and the service was perfect.
This was my 3rd visit to Roux at the Landau, as always it was exceptional. The food was amazing, the crispy hens egg with Parmesan was to die for as was the pear souffle!
I had taken friends and they were blown away, it's so nice to recommend a restaurant and be confident it will live up to your expectations.
Had tasting with fine wine pairing with my partner.
We both enjoyed our experience.
Delicious dishes and exciting wine choices.
Great service from all staff!
Thank you !
(We will be back)
An excellent experience at an excellent restaurant.
Had the New Years Eve tasting menu with wine. Excellent service. Food well presented but 1 course inedible as had more salt in it than the Dead Sea ! Wines were all excellent and paired with the food perfectly.
Live band was playing which frankly made the whole experience far from intimate. Would not have expected this in a “French” restaurant.
Wine flight extremely poor in both quality and food pairing. Reaction of manager to feedback was poor and defensive. Would not revisit.
Exactly what I expected; quality, attention to detail and taste. Perfect, absolutely perfect.
Service was excellent as always, food delicious!
Lovely venue and great food - only downside was being asked to order within 5 mins of arrival as kitchen closing for orders - no prior warning of timing limit and they even started hoovering around us as they prepared for evening session
Visited Roux at The Landau for a celebratory meal just before Christmas with friends.
It was a Monday night, so a little quieter than other evenings. The dining room is very elegant with a very high ceiling that gives a very spacious feel.
We had the Tasting Menu of 6 courses. Each course was stunning and beautiful to eat. The staff were very attentive and friendly and recommended a great white French wine to compliment our meal. On the tasting menu, we did not eat the foie gras so they kindly swapped for the crisp hen egg with smoked duck. This dish, the XL Scallop and Turbot as a main were an absolute pleasure to eat because of combination of the flavours, textures as well as how beautifully presented they were on the plate.
Would definitely go again as curious to try other dishes.
Fantastic food and service. Have eaten here several times and has never disappointed.
We had a fantastic, unforgettable dining experience at your restaurant. Thank you for the excellent food, the lovely and professional service and the wonderful atmosphere that you let us enjoy. We'll come back again!
Perfect lunch visit from start to finish - the service was outstanding and every mouthful of food was so tasty we could not fault it at all even if we tried.
Beautiful place and excellent service with attentive staff. Starters we had smoked salmon and scallop was delicious but portion was too small for the price. The main course was beautiful and fish was beautifully cooked. Place was a great location central and the whole ambience was enjoyable.
Absolutely an enjoyable experience, the only slight downside was the background music was a little loud.
Absolutley fabulous lunch. Faultless and delicious food...really enjoyed it.
Had the best time for my birthday lunch with a friend.
The team made it so enjoyable and the food was amazing!
Great wine too!
Thank you for looking after us, especially Eros!
Very good food and service. Having been going there for sometime. Highly recommend.
Top feed. Crab ravioli is amazing & set menu is unreal value!
Good food but it would be nicer if there were table cloth. Especially for this kind of price level. Also, even for a lunch it was quite loud, with noise bouncing off the walls and the tables (that did not have table cloth.) I usually go to hotel restaurants to have a quiet conversation so this was a bit of a disappointment. Service was excellent though.
Superb contemporary French with local British ingredients food cooked to perfection in an unassuming yet comfortable grand hotel Langham environment. Delightful service and amazingly creative desserts.
Delicious. Fabulous food. Great service. Cannot fault 5*
Perfect service. The food was excellent. The best place we discovered in London since 3 years now. Thank you opentable for the discovery and all the team of the Roux for their great work (service, wine, food).
We will be back next year for sure!
Good food and deals but be careful of the extras (aperitif, coffees, service charges) which can truly bump up the price.
A beautiful place . Excellent food. A touch pricey but you get what you pay for. Reservations about the choice of music in the cocktail bar but other than that excellent
Amazing food in a great atmosphere. Staff were brilliant. Will definitely go back
Fantastic dinner - this restaurant must have 3 stars
Lovely setting, staff very accommodating, drinks and food choices taken well and service very good, empty glasses topped up etc.
We had the 3 course menu and the food was delicious on each course. Drinks a little pricey but you expect that. 12.5% service charge included as standard. Nice touch with chocolates and a birthday note, although we did not receive our coffees with it.
Otherwise very nice and would visit again.
