The service was very slow. Though I generally don’t mind having time to take things slow and to relax, at some point you have to check on people and bring the check. The food was all tasty and well prepared though the steak should have been medium and was cooked just about well done. I’d go back for another round.
I ended up eating alone, and they made it quite enjoyable.
Family get together from 4 stares. The pl ace is jumping but really portrays that great NYC vibe!! Best tapas ever: dint miss lobster empanadas, chicken wings, crab cake. Every one we had was fabulous. Drinks great! For summer, strawberry daiquiris. A do not miss place if you live NYC.
Nice Sunday brunch vibe with a jazz combo. Waiter was pleasant but service (food prep?) was slow. Very nice manager checked on our table and others, sometimes assisting with serving.
Brunch selections (eggs benedict and open faced BLT) were ok. Appetizer (shrimp taco) was excellent.
Sunday brunch with a Jazz Comb that played at fortissimo the entire time. It was extremely obnoxious. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t great. My date had the Shrimp & Grits. The cheese grits had no salt in them and the shrimp was under cooked. I had the Crab Cake Benedict. It was very fishy and quite unpleasant. They replaced it with the Chicken & Waffles…not the best.
It’s unfortunate. I was looking forward to this experience. I guess if I go back I’ll sit at the bar and have a cocktail. The Raspberry Sour was delicious!
Took an hour to get me my food and the food was cold when it arrived
Cool experience, good food
I love the food the service and the atmosphere at the Row House. The band was a plus and I love music at restaurants but it’s too loud when your inside trying to enjoy your company.
The place was clean, I enjoyed the entire I selected (waffle & spicy chicken) was tasty & I would order it again.
The music was turned up a little too loud for conversation. Overall experience was good.
This was our first time to try Row House, and my girlfriend and I will definitely be back! While the noise level was very loud, the jazz band and the delicious food reminded me of a New Orleans Jazz Brunch. Everything we ordered was excellent, but the Mac and Cheese with short rib stood out. The bottomless brunch option is the way to go! At $25 per person, it’s a great deal. Can’t wait to go back!
We always enjoy Row House and great to see it surviving the pandemic. Hoping to see more on the brunch menu as it continues to grow and evolve.
We throughly enjoyed our anniversary
The food was good but the live music was too much. The band was loud and everyone was screaming to be heard. Very uncomfortable.
Great restaurant and expansive menu! The only thing was it seemed that the staff was overstrained so when one of us spilled a drink...it took forever to get it cleaned up. Not the biggest deal for us, but could be an issue for others!
It was incredible!
First time at the Row House. The food was great and the service was good. Will definitely eat there again.
I really enjoyed the Row House. I took my husband there for Sunday Brunch Father's Day! Unfortunately the service for was not good. I think they were under staffed because it was very busy and I could never find our waitress. Therefore I had to keep getting up to get water, drinks and napkins/condiments etc for the appetizers. Then when the main entrees came I had to send the food back because it was delivered to my table COLD.
I ordered Shrimp & Grits and the yes, the Grits were Cold & Dry w. only (2) pieces of Shrimp. I also had to the Crab Benedicts and the Hollandaise sauce was Cold Too, so I had to send that back too. But the ambiance was fantastic, LOVED the Live Jazz Band! Just poor service and Brunch Food not as good as I thought it would be. Will go back again, when things get back to a Normal after Covid and more staff is hired & working.
Service was hospitable but extremely slow. I waited long for everything. I didn’t enjoy the food at all. Everything was pretty bland to me.
Ambiance is a cool vibe. The chicken potstickers were amazing. Wasn't a fan of the meatballs or Mac and cheese. Service was a bit slow. Drinks were great!
One of the best brunch spots in NYC. The mac n cheese cannot be beat! Salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees are all terrific! Fun and on-trend vibe. Music is super loud, in case that matters. Service was uneven this time.
Friendly , great food great drinks
Great place for brunch and great jazz band
The food was great and the service was okay. It took awhile to get our orders taken and even longer for our food.
The wait staff were all amazing. I really enjoyed my experience
The noise was at a great level where I was able to hear my friend. Food was delicious. Service was great. Drinks were perfect. Not too strong and not too light. A good balance. I ordered the mussels, empanadas and chicken and waffles. I ate everything. There was nothing left to take home. Portions were good.
Outdoor dining. Horrible service. Took about 20 minutes for us to order drinks. The waitress never came back to take our orders. We waited for an hour before we were served but the food was cold. So we had to place another order and it took an additional hour. Ended up just getting it to go after waiting a total of 2 hours to get all meals. Waited so long for the waiter to take our payment that we could’ve dined and dashed. Fortunately we’re not those people. Overall the food was a 3 service 0
Really love this restaurant but not at night. I’ll stick with Sunday brunch.
One of my favorite places to go in Harlem for nearly any occasion. I’ve been there three times now for three different things, including a Christmas party last year, and every time I go I’m blown away. They consistently have wonderful and kind staff that make the experience great. The drinks are incredible!! I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a great dining experience for a sensible price!
Our server was AMAZING, the food was good. My Lobster Empanadas needed a little more flavor but the rest of the meal was great! Especially the Short Rib Mac n Cheese
Only 2 shrimp w the shrimp and grit platter...had to feed my friend who is 240lbs a d 6'4" not enough for the $$ overall the vive was great...the crowd was great service was great but the portions need to be adjusted.
Was ok, appetizer was a bit cold
The Foos was delicious
Eggs were cooked all the way through in eggs benedict, shrimp/grits had just 3 overcooked, tough shrimp. Took 20 minutes for the server to come get my card after I was given the bill even though the place was not busy.
Live jazz was amazing and definitely the only reason to come back.
Overall: expected way more for what I paid. This restaurant needs to focus on attention to detail both for food preparation and service.
Excellent food! Helpful waiter, though could have checked in more. Lovely outdoor seating, but you know New York Streets are not quiet especially on Saturday night!
What was on the menu as baby back ribs, were more like rib tips. We were disappointed.
This place is absolutely fantastic! A friend of mine and I went here for their bottomless mimosas (which is $25 per person for 90 minutes) on top of whatever the price was for your food. The mimosas were sooooo good, omg. The food was great too!! The ambience was fantastic & they played bomb music for you to bump to while you were eating/drinking. Overall great experience, I would definitely visit again.
Great vibes, food and service. Also Rose’ Sangria was refreshing
